ugenn Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 By refusing to hang it up, Ric Flair has lost whatever legacy he had. Today, when I look at Flair, all I see is an out-of-shape, under-performing overglorified mid-card jobber rather the 19? time World champion.

Today, when I look at Flair, all I see is an out-of-shape, under-performing overglorified mid-card jobber rather the 19? time World champion.Ric Flair still has enough charisma to get the fans all heat up.He is really great considering his age.He might not have the youthful prowess like 20 yrs ago, but who won't shout "WHooooooo!" when he, or everyone else deliver a backhand chop, or go nutsover the Figure 4?!? And who shout the better "Whoooooo" than him?
Wizard Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Seriously, if Terry Funk can't retire, then Ric Flair can do what ever he wants. And Funk is what? Atleast into his 60's now? And Abudllah The Butcher, what about him? Still wrestling. Man, these 3 guys are old, but can still put out some stuff(Butcher is a maybe, I mean, it's great to see a 500 pound big guy, with no actual wrestling skill, stab people in the head with a fork for the last 30 years AND still be able to pull a crowd is beyond me.
ForceX Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 (edited) Its great to see WWE giving Randy Orton the chance to excel. I cannot wait for a Orton vs HHH!!!! -- Oh yeah before I forget.... Wizard Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Orton getting pushed way too fast imo. Anyways, WWE is garbage to me.
AntiWinner22 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Pft...the Rock...this guy is the greatest. YES!!! Sweet Gryphon, you and I KNOW who the greatest really is... (I was about to post the same thing.) Anon.
ForceX Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 (edited) Guys...everyone knows that Macho Man Randy Savage is a has-been. He would get his candy ass kicked by the Rock and Orton. Even, Hulk Hogan owns Savage Also, K'Dash what makes you say that Orton is getting pushed too fast. He is an awesome wrestler whose talent has been wasted for so long with him being in HHH's shadow. Now, he can finally be a great champ like his Father and Grandfather. --- This next image shall sum it all up:- Edited August 18, 2004 by ForceX

He is an awesome wrestler whose talent has been wasted for so long with him being in HHH's shadow.I quit following WWE so it wouldn't matter a whole load to me like it does to the people who watch it. It's garbage. It's too fast, he should still be a mid-carder, he's a good wrestler I agree, but champion? No, he's not, not right now.

It open up a lot of storylines possibilities like the breaking up of Evolution (which has happened)
ugenn Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 He's pushed too fast because he hasn't been in the biz long enough to pay his dues. Look at the past champs who have really made a huge impact on wrestling: Bret, Austin, HBK, Triple H, Benoit etc, they all had long illustrous careers filled with ups and downs before got their first world title. An when they finally got the belt, you could really feel like they earned it. Orton? How many years does he have under his wing? Just one IC title reign (which ended fairly recently too) and he's now pushed to main event status. Yes, I agree he has the raw talent, but so do many other mid-carders. W/o his family connections pulling strings behind the scenes, Orton would probably be some jobber on Heat or Velocity today.
Agozer Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 Pft...the Rock...this guy is the greatest. Hahahaha... Macho Man Randy Savage. I haven't seen any pictures of him since I played WWF Superstars on my Gameboy.
