L.S.D Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I don't know what the hell is wrong with you...weird. You should take a nap or something. But I was glad to here that things were alright when you played DN3D, that game is just too cool. Try it again tomorrow.Hell yeah. I still remember the ending of Dukie which he use the head of the baddie as football.
Gryph Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 i tried jedi outcast many times and ended up with a headache..same for halo solo.but halo online and ut2004.i had no headaches..weird.. [edit]: dn3d was the first fps i ever played..it was great... the shrink ray pnws all!! Does this happen when you play other 3D games? Try playing non-FPS 3D games. This is just a wild guess but you could be experiencing a sort of sea-sickness that I've heard that can happen to people who play FPS games.

Wizard Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Motion Sickness or their too damn flashy ( get headaches when that happens ).
Inky Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Doom used to give me motion sickness when it first came out but I got used to it fast. decent always made me feel queezy too.
kurupter13 Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 i like fps but i hate rpgs damn there flockin boring
random guy Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 i like fps but i hate rpgs damn there flockin boringYeah I know what you mean - for me to enjoy an rpg it basically has to have an awesome storyline. I hated those games where you'd walk for like 10 seconds then get attacked, kill off your monster, then walk another 10 seconds and get attacked...etc etc etc.In fact, what was really bad was playing a ff style game (the ranma rpg, in fact) on a snes emulator before I figured out how to frame-limit. That way you'd get attacked every.10 of a second!
AndymaN Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I think you move too much in certain fps games? Jedi Outcast, I would be getting dizzy like a motha.
Chaotica Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Long shot...but maybe you just need some sleep? Are you really being harsh on your eyes? Maybe you just need to give them a rest.
Captain FuKu Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 Not fps, but to this day I have not finished Kingdom Hearts. After 20 min. or so of playing, the damn shifting camera angles makes me dizzy and I feel like puking. And overall, RPGs tend to be boring with the constant level ups, walk around, level up more. Damn.
Diso Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 I don't have a problem with dizziness in FPS. I would even spin the optical mouse in cs just for messing around and I'm still fine
Jjangthekid Posted July 26, 2004 Author Posted July 26, 2004 i have no idea why im like this.. but anyways its agood thing that i could play ut2004.. fun game.
Xeon Posted July 26, 2004 Posted July 26, 2004 if theres one FPS game that can give me dizzyness (not that i had), its Turok 2 (i forgot how it goes with Turok 1). try jumping or climb a ladder on that game, youll see what i mean
