I told people how to fix it if you cant do it your end ... im doing it my end.... everyone I know is fine with it....you guys can discuss this as you see fit.... there is only one solution my side I code in stuff to stop misinformation and as I expand if it contiunes ill code more serve methods to cost people alot of time if they purposly try and change things to continue misinformation.... im very sure this is the way im going now and have built the new vision around this... I am 100 percent happy with this as it will limit my support needed..... as I say no more will be said on this matter...you guys know my view...you know why ive done it....if you dont like it you guys can branch a project no worries or sort it out your side.....it wastes my time talking to people and as im about to move high in my field to a level you guys would be surprised by I wont have so much time with the funny stuff...but I wish to continue on my passions for myself......ill continues anyways for me and my friends as I always have done....its really up to you guys what you want.... you can remove alot of games with no worries....if you try and nuke all consoles it will lock you out....streaming is fine....just a percentage of games will have to be consoles....and the xbes will be encypted you have been warned enough and I hope im wrong.....but from my side things continue on and ill hold my side up.... its sadly a few that are causing me grief and to save me time ill gladely hand that grief to a few users to save me having it Best of luck....the future is in your guys hands but im doing whats best for me...... no more will be said on this..... ill concentrate on the release ... maybe it ends here for alot of people but for me I know 300+ games are added to this release....50+ games have been fixed in this release....more features and some new things that can be expanded like skins and retrospectives.... To the private users all is ready now sync away..... public info out tommorrow
BritneysPAIRS Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 LOCKS ARE 1) a percentage of consoles must remain.....2) a minimium game count will need to be met....3) the xbes will be encrypted so hex editing wont work for game saves or other altering....4) warning if to many games are added with issues like rx version (just a warning to tell you its likely to contain issues) so you can add what you want....deleted alot of games if you want...the rules around the numbers wont be anounced but you would have to take to CoinOPS 2 build with a chainsaw to hit these...eg remove all console games....CoinOPS raped version etc would will not work...rx build would just say its awsome but theres setup issues read the readme to fix these....

PhilExile Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 That's already done by the sorting functionality - you can sort by console, arcade, arcade + console, etc. Its one of the best features of CoinOps. Go back to MameOX and you'll see what I mean.

BritneysPAIRS Posted April 19, 2011 Author Posted April 19, 2011 I am not removing consoles..... consoles is the lock except it or use CoinOPS 1 varaiant forever....once again untill misinformation stops ill code solutions to alow people to see for themselves as my friends prefer Consoles on CoinOPS everyone of them as its simpler and more intuative for them...keymapping and aspect ratio and saving is way easier for them.....phil you can also merge or split consoles / arcade game listing there is no Standalone version coming out now its the full build called CoinOPS 2 only......ive decided to only support the full build again...this was twice the case....its easy for me....as I know everything works or I know the state of it....I do this cause people are added bugs I have to support and I end up living with... and freely give out information I have to deal with or cry for you guys about..... so get over it guys you can read in these forums about any release thats been locked and find why.... I tried to support stuff but its clear that I cant so I need to rain that in for the sake of as many users it will hurt....it will help alot more than it harms...the ones that dont come to the forums and have to live with known issues created by misinformation and bad builds..... this will be simple for me one vision...one version to support that I know the state of...simple for me and simple for most users... also and one of the main reasons is im sick of the newbes trying to run things...so im going to show them they are newbes like I showed rx in the past.....and they hurt the scene when they say they are protecting it remember cba skin thread = 300 views over 6 months....same time CoinOPS views for this thread alone = 100,000 and yet he contiunues to say im the problem and hes the solution....the day I release something and get only 300 views is the day I leave for sure....let alone release multiple times over 6 months and get that....well my friends these people are now determining your locks....waal megamind bigby and cba mainly....PS dballs dont worry I know your legit and people thank you for your solution to there issues esp sata drive users

BritneysPAIRS Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 OK public build is in sync mode...for the final testers to release...should be up soonish....also ive toned down the locks but still for testers test the full build or its likely to fail....for those that do high level cheating I am alowing it but be warned if you do you risk a payload that will come later down the track for you and everyone you give it to im keeping an eye in multiple places on the state of the build and it will flag exceptions....low level rom removing etc will only reboot the build if its non conforming....no more warning will be sent.....you have no need to worry unless your the breaker and ive put some traps in for them an svf will be released with the build so you can test it and see its unaltered and will be supplied on this thread
