They have all other versions on there I believe an old saying you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink on most common sites its availbe and in the top downs list
Xbox Junkie Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I'm still confused, if i want CoinOPS, where do i get it from? You didn't answer my question clearly.Again, I'm not arguing here, just wanting to get hold of this emu to try it out.Thanks.
run088 Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 (edited) I always got it before on torrents I dont know how anybody else gets it. DOA the sega master system, sega gamegear and sega sg1000 are done those systems run the same core. the gameboy advanced, gameboy color and the gameboy which run off the same core are about ready it should not take long. And I got pretty much a whole screenshot set put together for mega drive and snes I might be 30 or so short which yet bad out of 1800. The rest didnt have an action shot in the screenshot pack I used from the older resx pack. The newer pack might have them. I dont know. I got pretty much all the videos renamed to although I have not tested them they are in wmv format. I need to convert them over to xmv if I can ever figure out how. Edited February 4, 2010 by run088
BritneysPAIRS Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 ill send you an automatic program to convert wmv to xmv its all setup with 3 options on who you want to convert them Convert with full audioConvert with mp3 audio (best one id say)Convert muted just click on the option and it will do them all for you and put them into the correct folder

I'm also confused. Without a release name it's even harder to find. All I see on torrent sites are old versions. I guess I'll just wait till it shows up on snesorama.
BritneysPAIRS Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 NES, Master System , game gear , color game gear cores prlim work

fumanchu Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 @zgredoo you should delete the link you have posted as links to xbox binaries are not allowed to be posted on this site.
+ T + Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 I thought you were the emu author.CoinOPS contains emus coded by many different authors. DOA is not one of them.
BritneysPAIRS Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 so does other emus if you look at sources.....they are by other people mainly from what I see people give other people credit and dont look at the soures and actually how much is from other open source projects so yes most of the code is from mame0.84 line wise so thats the biggest thanks to the mame team... alot of other so called emu aurthors have tweaked a few things say like hk or even the above name and I dont put myself as an aurthor like the above people... id say ive coded in alot more them and have done stuff like vm code for 720p...ummm actually 720p... ummm added drivers.... added decryption for drivers blah blah that they say makes them emu authors
DHS Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Impressive thread. Too bad I was away when the SNES stuff went up.I would have requested DRIVER( TetrisBattleGaiden ) GAMEX( 1993, TetrisBattleGaiden, 0, cps3, cps3, nocpu, ROT0, "Super NES", "Tetris Battle Gaiden", GAME_NOT_WORKING|GAME_NO_SOUND ) for the year, maybe "LusSpace FE" dats can be usefull. If their is no way to retrive the year automatically I'm willing to help put them in by hand. **Coming back to folders. Is it possible to make Coinops look in subfolders ?I have splited my roms in "/roms/snes/eu" "/roms/snes/us" "/roms/snes/jap a-n" "/roms/snes/jap m-z" "/roms/snes/hack" ***Coinops would even be better with the new gun support implemented. ***With so many new machines in Coinops, could we have a GUI with pages to filter systemslike it was in Gogos FBA "NeoGeo" ®} "CPS1" ®} "CPS2" ®} "Others" ®} "NeoGeo" Lots of requests at once...
Xbox Junkie Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Okay, I'm still confused.Pretty much every emu I know of goes up on xbins for others to grab when needed, why is coinops different in this regard? Why is there so much crap to deal with when asking about getting it from somewhere? I want the emu...not the crap that goes with it!Why is there a thread about all this stuff when the emu is very hard to get hold of?

I want to play Gran Turismo 5 for years, but I have to wait cause it's not out(finished?) yet.Their is a link for R4 somewhere above, take it and wait R5 to be finalized.
Xbox Junkie Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 You miss my point, why is coinops not uploaded to xbins like other emu's?All very secret squirrel stuff really...

I've always been extremely reluctant to take the credit for what amounts to just tweaking other people's work and I always directed that credit to where it was due.
