BritneysPAIRS Posted May 24, 2009 Author Posted May 24, 2009 good luck kenshiro.... that is surprising. Dont really know why you posted it in this thread you shoudl put it on your thread. Best wishes and sorry im suck a biatch.......... but im only a biatch on my threads
The-Ice-Man Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Taking the NeoGeo roms out of the 'Others' folder and fixing the CPS2 720P support would make FBAxxx 1.29 the current best emulator on the Xbox, in my opinion. The latest revision of 1.29c has the NeoGeo games in the NeoGeo folder. I agree that 720p support for everything would be great for those with HD tvs, and me for when I get one in the future.
BritneysPAIRS Posted May 24, 2009 Author Posted May 24, 2009 please post in your own threads why do people come to post stuff to me about random stuff that doesnt concern me and wonder why im bitchy for the last time please create your own threads ill respect them and so will others id say. Im sorry kenshiro is gone but I cant control him or want to. Pretty please guys start your own threads or post in the thread that is it should be in. If this happened It would mean for a way nicer thread all round, including my side. PS I fixed 720p support and its automatic now on my version but thats off the subject.
cba.gy Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Always sad to hear about development ceasing, damn shame. On a positive note . BP have you tested that build your making built on xbmc. I remember you said you were transfering it to xbox to get a feel for it. How did that work out ?
BritneysPAIRS Posted May 24, 2009 Author Posted May 24, 2009 ive been using it for about 18months on all my xboxssince I asked if people wanted this or coinops I continued on Coinops now im getting back to this project......... anyways more threads in about 10 hours on this stuff
cba.gy Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Its hard to believe people prefered a standalone emulator. I would have voted for the xbmc style build myself as it has much more scope for adding other stuff (emulators etc). Plus it seems far more up to date with its previews and navigation. The build you have is it stable ? And what sort of changes (if any) would you be implimenting. I understand you will start a new thread but a few teaser comments / descriptions wouldnt hurt.
gavin19 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 Its hard to believe people prefered a standalone emulator. Not everyone uses XBMC believe it or not The integrated version would have forced people to use XBMC just so they could run CoinOPS. The looks mean virtually nothing to me anyway. I'd be content with a list of games in black and white. It doesn't matter how many HD fliers/backgrounds you use, ultimately when the game is launched it's the same old rom! No offence meant of course.

darknior Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 For my part, i think an emulator must have a beautifull menu with informations about the games it launch For exemple with MAME i don't know all the games, have the Screenshot, the Long name, the Year and the manufacturer are excelent indication to help to choose what i will play. When we do that we stay long time in the menu and if it is beautifull it is perfect But you are ral, the game is the same lol On xBox it is a religion to have a beautifull menu !All emulators by xPort have it, with animation and music It is why i prefer use my xbox and not my PC to play games, because on PC you can also have pad (x360) and use TV if you have a beautifull LCD It's what i mean ... and i wish all emulators on this machine continue to be beautifull whith many options to make it the best MUSEUM of OLD GAMES
cba.gy Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 (edited) I use XBMC as my dash but i also agree with you that a rom is a rom once launched. HA HA just noticed a liitle RIP under my avatar, hmm wonder which geek did that ? Edited May 24, 2009 by cba.gy
stf Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 HA HA just noticed a liitle RIP under my avatar, hmm wonder which geek did that ? It's only the site's attack game. I killed you because I wanted to stay alone with your Barbie Girl
BritneysPAIRS Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 well first off this will run as an emu or a dash...... and you can use the xbmc features or not. Anyway threads soon with specific questions..... the answers to them will determine the build
Robert Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Closed at request of BP. edit: Hmm, quite a bit a emudrama going on... if I had an xbox this would have been noticed earlier, oh well.
