Hera Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 3:10 to Yuma. Not really into westerns nor am I a fan of Christian Bale but this movie was pretty good.
Weirdy Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Saturday Night and Sunday Morning interesting how he never gave into any neuroses
Inky Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 watched Up with my girls. it was cute, and had some really sad and sweet parts to tug the parents heart strings.
KyokugenKiss Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Return of the living dead 3, its a love story, totally has the grindhouse b rate feeling to it
Hera Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 watched Up with my girls. it was cute, and had some really sad and sweet parts to tug the parents heart strings. I loved that movie! It actually made my hubby cry a little bit.
veristic Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 The Brothers Bloom. Adrien Brody is cool... Mark Ruffalo is... yeah. Thing about movies like this, off-beat quirky dramedies, is that sometimes they get a little too off-beat. The Japanese girl is just weird, as if the director is saying she's too cool not to be weird and thats just stupid. Not to mention, several other characters. A movie can be different but playing up on the bizarre character portrayals while trying to come off serious (in a funny way) kinda fails. Rachel Weisz looks better with longer hair. 7/10
Weirdy Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 White Heat only wish I had some popcorn to enjoy its awesomeness
Inky Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Yep, streets of fire is a badass movie. One of my favorite bands 'the blasters' are the band in the bar.
Shibathedog Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Looks like a cool movie, I'm going to watch it today. I love movies with great soundtracks.
Lucandrake Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 9 It's an adventure flick, with plenty of message and action to eat up. Anybody looking to remember their childhoods or delve into the new generation child flicks should give it a look. I don't really have much complaints, it could have been better (and the pacing felt odd plenty of times), but overall the movie stands on its own two feet. I hate that the two forms of "reality" that it mixes, but at the same time enjoy it because it shows the idea of combining two different reasons for life. It was enjoyable, but I do regret the $10 that went towards watching it, I would gladly have been patient for a download had I not been fooled by the trailer (I expected a more artsy approach).
Krosigrim Posted September 14, 2009 Posted September 14, 2009 Tokyo Gore Police... I don't EVER remember seeing a movie with more WTF moments than this! The movie made us laugh our asses off. Final Battle Needless to say, the movie is horrible. Forced cult classic ism.
