NES is notorious for having games with godlike difficulty levels.

Aint that the truth :banghead:

They also almost never had the save feature. So beating games like megaman would have you writing down some long a$$ code or just playing all day without turning it off.

Ikaruga. I probably could beat it, if I sat down and actually tried to. It just gets hard enough in later levels that it drives me insane!

I could never beat Prince of Persia - the old one, the original one. I either missed a jump, got impaled on spikes, was cut in half by those doors or lost a sword fight. Or drank the wrong potion.

I got pretty far, but the time limit doesn't exactly make the game any easier.

The first Mario bro game for NES.

LoL, its funny cuz now that i think of how many times i played it, i dont recall ever beating it. by the time i would even get close to beating it, i would have gotten tired. I do recall beating the deluxe version for gameboy color, but thats because it has the save feature.

It is easy when you use the cheat codes.

(I assume you are referring to Prince of Persia 1 on the PC)
