Sure it's something different but it's like a "wow wtf is that" kind of difference. I'm not sure of breaking out of the traditional gamepad design was such a good idea at this point, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Wow.....This reminds me of how sometimes i play PS1 games on my PS2 with my DVD remote just because i can.

 

If this is going to be anything like that (But there wont be lag i bet) its going to be horrible.

 

This is just a total /fail on nintendo's part, The current controllers just dont have enough buttons, they work for most games, but on some games you can REALLY tell how they needed more buttons, This is the complete opposite of what they should be doing.

No game? I beg to differ. Nintendo is the only one that has fresh games. I'm ashamed to admit it but Nintendogs is actually a fun game.

 

Also, your precious Hideo Kojima and Square have praised the controller. And I think they know more about game design than you.

Yeah...well if that's the controller it's crap. Of course its to early to tell as of now. But if that's the official controller then they better have some astounding shite up their sleeves for it to work well.

And I've been out condemning Nintendo for the last 10 years... I said the Revolution was aglorified emulator...

this controller has something charismatic about that controller. It and the GB Micro... for some reason are making me like the prospect of Nintendo's new line of things...

I like the fact that Nintendo is really taking a giant leap of faith and trying something new. Only after the games come out can any of us really say how good or bad it is.

 

Before the DS came out I thought it was stupid and the stylus would never work. After playing Meteos, the Kirby game, and Nintendogs I feel differently about it.

 

This controller could add a whole new type of interaction with games and I'm sure first party titles will use it to full advantage.

Well only time will tell how this well this controller does. And the possibility of new games would surely be interesting. In the meantime I'm going to go practice using my DVD remote so I'll be prepared
