Gryph Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 Yeah, K'dash is only one even close to there. He might reach it by summer or fall. Now this thing adds a little danger when attacking mods, smods, and admins for experience. Makes it a little more dangerous and fun.
NeuronMaster Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 10k posts, thats gay. I'm predicting more lame topics.
Gryph Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 10k posts, thats gay. I'm predicting more lame topics.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Topics have always been lame. It's not like we're a flocking think tank. But it's gayer than you think.
Lucandrake Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 bleh, maybe you should add a item thats called Magic Lamp so I can wish my way to 10,000 posts...bleh, were all screwed, I didn't even know weopens got updated !
Agozer Posted February 13, 2005 Posted February 13, 2005 All the so-called new features (the Attack system, the weapons in it, new emoticons etc.) are useless when they're stripped down to the bare essentials. Sure, they provide a host of new experiences, but turn stale after a while. Gay? Might be. Eh, I'm just rambling, being the old fool that I am.
Samurai Edge Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 lol, even ALL the posts in ALL the sites' forums I've joined, add them together, mutiply by 2, I can't even enter, *cries*.
NeuronMaster Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 (edited) I didn't say they weren't lame. At least it isn't like DGemu with the incompetent staff (all 400 of them). But 10k posts? That's ridiculous. The site will probably be dead before I have 10k posts. It's an unrealistic number to try and achieve for me. 5k posts, that's probably more attainable and, for myself, will probably have a less perfunctory posting habit to achieve. Gryph Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Maybe 10,000 was chosen for the simple fact it is very very very very very hard to attain. If you ever get to 10,000 posts you deserve the atomic bomb. Who knows, maybe there will be weapons unlockable at lower post counts. It's all up to GC. You can suggest it in the suggestion section.

Everyone should remember my daily spam fests of info. 6 months here at the time and I had about 4-5k in posts.

kaioshade Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Geez. but it does give you something to shoot for.
Samurai Edge Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Out of all the things. Opening and closing own topics seems cool. But if the mods close it, and I open it, isn't it consider rebeling, and deserve an increase in warning?
Gryph Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 By the time you get to 10,000 posts I think you would know whether or not to do something like that. There has to be proper reasoning to close your own thread like if it's erupted into a spam fest or flame war. By then you'll now the ins and outs of what to do.
