  1. Yes the "REPLY is what I was after. It still says Lo-Fi though. Now all I need is some guidance on the attack thingy. In the meantime I'll do some reading of threads on that topic.
  2. Thanks. Most people don't recognise a DALEK. Especially Americans. Now while I'm here I'll ask a n00b question (or two) 1. When I want to quote someone I click on +QUOTE and it just changes to -QUOTE. How can I actually use it? 2. The attack system?? I just got used to the one on a@h, this one is different, do I just go at someone who has less of everything or what? How long till I recover (if at all). Member details give no info at all. 3. At the bottom of the screen it says Lo-Fi Version. Does that mean I can somehow get a Hi-Fi ?
  3. Hi I'm relatively new here. Well it's been a couple of weeks and in that time two great sites have disappeared off the face of the internet. Neoromcollector has gone, and so has playagain.net I am registered on about a dozen other emu forums, so I would expect that someone's seen me around. Now to the post above... 1. If zero posts one month after registration then delete 2. Otherwise, haven't visited for a year then delete.
  4. Thanks everyone, I will pass this on to my colleague.
  5. For MAME 0.89u1: Dead or Alive++ Dead Or Alive ++ (JAPAN) doapp.zip Emulation not 100% (sound) Needs tps.zip Die Hard Arcade Die Hard Arcade (US) diehard.zip Listed as Not Working (sound) Needs stvbios.zip Try this: 20. How do I get Die Hard Arcade to work? Here is what you need: Die Hard (US) Dynamite Deka STVBIOS Mame32 Heres what you do: 1. Make sure Die Hard, Dynamite Deka, and the STVBIOS are in your ROMS folder. 2. Open Mame32 (refresh the rom list if you just dropped the files into the rom folder for the first time), find Die Hard on your list of games (pay no attention if it mentions Not Working, it is referring to the sound and 100% video emulation). Right click on it. 3. Select Properties, then Miscellaneous. 4. Under the BIOS: setting change the bios to the US version - "USA (bios mp17952a)" 5. Run the game. *Note this will make the game run, but it will still run slow on a PC compared to the way it ran in the arcade.
  6. A bloke at work bought an xbox, and he asked do the disks have regions (remember like dvds had) or can any game purchased anywhere in the world will work on the xbox? I don't have xbox so I said I would ask. Thanks guys
  7. My main interest is in old 70s-80s games, and they run at full speed on my 333. Last week someone donated 9 gigs of mame stuff, so I thought to try some of the newer ones. They don't go too well !! If you really want slow, try running galaga on a 386. takes 10 minutes to get past the messy graphics at the start.
  8. I tried running it on my 333. I won't say it ran, more like crawled. The frame rate was 0.
