yeah this sounds good destronger kinda how i ment to put it and a xbox cab section with sharpfork as mod would be cool as well i agree he does know his stuff plus a section on emu/misc releases with Fumancho at the helm sounds great as well of course both these guys would have to want to do this maybe they'll post and lets us know at some point

i would have no objection to +T+ being in a staff position here infact i agree with all the points he made lets try and build a postive helpfull forum ive a few ideas really just about what subsections to have i would like to see 1) a section for coinops 2) a section for FBA/FBL 3) a news section so roving reporter FU can keep us up to date with whats out there 4) a section devoted to madmap's and freakdave's xbox console emu projects 5) a section for anyone or anything i forgot to mention

what other emus do you have on there

FTP your main coinops folder with all folders and files roms and videos inside across to your xbox and simply boot it up it should be good to go best of luck hope you get it going

last game i played was raymen origins a really cool old skool platformer

hmm i read an old release thread for cpx3 which mentioned slowdowns in some games mostly when you unleash the special moves and best to set it to NTSC video format otherwise it might run choppy it was the V1 release so maybe these issues have been sorted since then i dont know for sure guess ill have to track down the release info and find out regarding nba jam well i cant say for sure ive played it a few times seems to be fine and it has sound but im sure a user mentioned in a post elseware that the sound is incorrect but i cant mind if it was nbajam or nbajamte he was talking about mortal kombat 3 and some other games will be added to a new mame0.72 core i tested a few of these games for him last week but all seemed to have issue's in that core some more than others i guess i want to find out if some extra work has been done to get these games to play better or if it will be as you were so to speak

well ive been reading a 21 reasons countdown elseware its not a bad list kinda got something for everyone anyway i noticed on the list something called a modified capcom CPS3 core i wonder if this has been improved so all games will now play flawless with no slowdowns on a 64meg xbox or will the games still play like before eg some slowdowns etc maybe someone with more inside info about this can maybe provide an answer EDIT::: hmm i see mortal kombat 3 on the list as well i wonder how that will now play same as always in mame0.72 or maybe it has been improved to now play flawless?? i guess time will tell unless someone has an answer

its been so long since i used this as the games took up a whole lotta space i dont have i think i only had soniccd usa rom with jap music but i mind you had to format the ram then after that the game would always load im sure you held down A at the segacd boot screen cant mind for sure the above screen shot where the sega logo is should have an option for memory click that and on next page choose format ram and save and exit the game should now load after sega startup screen i could never suss out the usa/euro version cd launcher i always used the jap one

dont see any reason you couldnt play coinops of a disc thats how i used my old mamedox set back in the day but i do think you get better performance when running your emus on the HDD only issue i can see is disc size as videos and some console roms ie psx would take up a huge chunk of space

forgot to say your bios files will need to be current as well eg pgm.zip neogeo.zip check the PM i sent will tell where to get what you need good luck

quick question +T+ a while back i asked if it would be possible like the mame emulators to have an option to toggle the gun game crosshares on or off included in the game menu in FBL was wondering any progress on maybe adding this feature

might be your roms are wrong you will more than likely need to get a newer set to use with this emulator regarding the neogeo games make sure you have the neogeo.zip bios files in your rom folder
