  3. New version built. Improved graphics. Cleaner look. Pics. Later.
  4. Try here you will have more luck http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showforum=17
  5. Yes, was thinking along then lines anyway. Work on something existing to get a feel for it.
  6. Considered it last year, writing a standalone gun emulator but i feel i would be bogged down with my limited knowledge. Still might have a go this summer though using a modern LightWeight Mame core just to play Gun roms. There are over 60 that could be playable on xbox. The chd's and other large roms are a no go obviously. Although i think this would take some time as like i say ive never attempted to make this sort of thing. Not impossible but don't hold ya breathe.
  7. That'll be a "No" then. Strange as you have a lot of helpers that are Gun fanatics acording to my PM box.
  8. Did those LightGun "exit and save" button changes do any good ?
  9. optimised or un optimised same result !
  10. @NES6502. I have recently been playing with your skin engine for FBL. I am a HD (720) user so i built my skin for that size. I have a HD (1280x720) Rombrowser and a full screen 1280x720 mainmenu video. Its the splashscreen and splashscreen2 im having trouble with. Iv'e optimised my graphics (1280x720) so they are much less in KB than the deformed then stretched 640x480 ones. However the emulator refuses to show them (white screen). It then goes on to show the rest of the emulator graphics as normal with no problems. My question = has the emulator been coded to only accept a 640x480 image at the splashscreens ?
  11. Try Kingroaches version of the ndure softmod installer and wipe the drive clean and rebuild the partition tables etc.
  12. Did it suck or was it your singing ? lol. Yeah Music Mixer was a piss poor XBMC at the time.
  13. One thing thats always puzzled me ResX. I don't use cut files so i need educating. I under the understanding that cut files launch roms directly ? If so doesn't this bypass all the features of the emulator including the extra's. Therefore if i wanted to have 2 or 3 emulators, with full rom sets, using cut files wouldn't that mean i would have 2 or 3 thousand (or more) of these cut files in one directory ? If any of the above is correct doesn't it render both Madmab's and your work a wasted exercise in a round about way ? Im puzzled why your so keen on the idea.
  14. Polished the graphics on this one a bit last night and added some minor bits. PM Status-X members for a link.
  15. I have the official adapters so can't comment on USB stuff but im gonna guess and say it probably would require drivers anyway.
  16. The only issue i had was trying to exit the calibration screen with a button press. Without this button press the calibration wasnt saved. It may be a simple case of remapping a button to exit that screen. Guns tend to have an "A" Trigger and on Beretta's and EMS LCD TopGun its the trigger and a side mounted button. A "B" button "Start" and "Back". I can't remember as it been some time but if i remember correctly all buttons function correctly on the menus and in game it was just when you wanted to save and exit the calibration screen the "B" button had no function. Whether this pice of code is broken or the save and exit button needs mapping to Start or Back. Your call.
  17. Only takes 10 secs then do it anyway as it won't hurt anything will it ? Did you really fix it though ? Supposed to have fixed it last time ! I hear a lot of talk and no action. Im the reason it never got implimented. BullS***.
  18. I use any then re-name sensibly and correctly as the manufacturer intended.
  19. Anyone tested this yet ? Is it worth investigating ?
  20. Can i vote better LightGun support ? lol.
  21. While the wires are colour coded and you've wired them correctly. Not all manufaturers (not necessary what brand written on the device) use the same colour coding. Twist the wires securely and don't solder till you have it right. Stick to cheap devices then no additional drivers are required. If you can still get hold of a USB to Xbox connector then thats even easier.
  22. Wasn't picking fault. I just think its a very important part of the emulator. Most users like different layouts. This is such a powerfull feature of the Madmab Editions to be able to re-configure on the fly. Looks like you were missing lots of HQ video's too !
