  1. Yes, it's worth getting, although many plugins don't display the battlefiled right (Jabo's D3D plugins for example). It is playable, but you have to fiddle with different plugins to get the best results.
  2. Oh, cleaning your hands from the mess eh? Nice going. Well you 2 ARE on the list of moderators for this forum. My job as an Admin isn't to moderator specific forums unless none of ya are around. Just don't want to step on your toes and make you feel useless. Ok, fair enough. Now, back to the problem at hand...
  3. happy 27th birthday to Sultan! Don't know if he'll see this, but it's ok.
  4. This should get a mention, as I don't knoe how big (figuratively) this'll get: http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=13274 Just look at how many views it has had already. Poor n00bs.
  5. Oh, cleaning your hands from the mess eh? Nice going.
  6. Great, now we have to wait till July 30th. :/ I have a few Prodigy albums to keep me occupied though.
  7. You have a point and I do agree, but I still feel that we should help the guy, no matter how inexperienced he is. In any case, he'll know better next time.
  8. I sent you something random. Go me.
  9. All burning programs usually have a menu item under File called "Create CD from Image" or something similar. If you find that, your 50% done. What type is the iamge you are trying to burn? (or do you even have one yet?)
  10. where do i download em at and how do i burn the files with selfboot Mr. G already answered to your first question... As for the second one: Do you know how to burn CD images in general?
  11. Great. Eternal SPU is the best sound plugin out there, but alas, it isn't perfect. Still, it does it's job very well.
  12. You download them as you would download any CD image. I don't really understand your question. There are no special tricks in burning DC games, the only thing that you have to make sure is that the CD image is Selfboot. Selfboot games work on your Dreamcast just fine. Most of the Dreamcast ISOs on the internet are already Selfboot, but there might be some non-selfboot images floating around as well.
  13. All chips works with backups and retail games. Check the model compatibility on the page I you. If you're model is not in there, then I really don't know alternative chips.
  14. There aren't that many differences between the different versions, but I'd go with the PSX version, since the emulation is much better than Saturn or the N64. Granted, the PC version doesn't involve emulation, so it might be your best choice after all.
  15. Mod-chips are always more reliable that booth discs/slidecards. There aren't too many PSX modchips anymore, but I guess this one is the most recent. http://www.mod-chip.com/index2.php?go=en/ps1_order.htm Of course, there's always the risk that you mess up the solder job, but from what I've been hearing from my friends, they do come with almost fool-proof instructions.
  16. No. For Kawaks/Nebula. In MAME, everything is hard-coded so you'd have to make changes to the source and then re-compile the win32 binaries.
  17. I haven't regretted my Logiech coordless mouse in gaming. The really is no lag, at least I don't see it. True, you have to be careful with the batteries though
  18. Hardly the right place for this. Moved. Is Bleemcast commercial or free?
  19. Loks very nice. /me wants PAL console ports.
  20. Are you using ePSXe built-in sound plugin, or a 3rd party plugin? Use SPU Eternal for great justice.
  21. Patches fix bugs and/or change the CRC of the file to a specific one (mainly used for emulators that use hard-coded CRC values).
  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth I can't really giv an advice on whether or not to get a combo - I use one myself though.
  23. You can quite easily get them to work in Kawaks, but like someone asid earlier, you need a Loader. Just edit the Asr.dat so that it has an entry for Samurai Shodown V and the entries match the roms you have (filename, size in hex. CRC, and the right CartID).
  24. I don't think key scancodes help much, Mr. G. Have you tried other emulators?
  25. According to the stuff I've read, the Jedi made the lightsabers from special crysrtals; either blue or green. The Sith also constructed their own lightsabers, but they needed to be made from red crystals. There was also a few lightsabers made from a yellow crytal, but they had the ability to cut though different colored lightsaber beams, and thus they were banned by the Jedi Order. ... God, I'm such a nerd.
