  1. Does the MDF/MDS mount fine in Daemon Tools?
  2. hahaha old ? LOL I am 12 years older than you hehe... Even so.
  3. I haven't used VGS myself and I'd say that it's quite outdated. You can check http://www.aldostools.com for some tools for VGS, but I son't know if they're actually worth anything.
  4. I'd suggest OpenGL if your card can handle it. But anyway, I just took a look at my ePSXe configuration notes... use Eternal SPU and make sure you enable 'SPU IRQ - wait CPU action' and 'SPU IRQ - Force interruption flag7'.
  5. Do you use the OpenGL plugin or the Direct3D one?
  6. Yay!!! I'm... old... @madi: ROFL
  7. Please do not triple post. It's evil and punishable. Please edit your original post from now on. The flood control is enabled on the board for a reason.
  8. Valkyrie Profile has been buggy on the actual console as well, dialogue freezing and such. Then again, there have been reports that VP can be played to the end using ePSXe. That's being said, ePSXe is still your best choice out of all the other emulators, although PSXeven might be a good option as well. Now for the required babble: What plugins are you using?
  9. Oohhhh yeah... Fatal Frame/Project Zero 3 TBA. Great.
  10. I know this one site that has a whole lot of CRC patches, the only problem is that it's been out of comission for quite a while now.
  11. If he has a loder that is.
  12. For the record, I've never gotten nebula Jukebox to work properly either. Some CPS-1/2 games have a "jukebox" of sort in their Test Menus, and for Neo-Geo, you should use the Universe BIOS.
  13. Playmore has all the rights to SNK titles. Including Last Blade. There will be LB3, when, I don't know.
  14. Does one actually need a frontend for it when it already has a GUI? People don't change the GUIs because just "changing the buttons" isn't really the priority when someone compiles a custom build. Besides, why fix something if it isn't broke?
  15. Oh ok.. so the "decrypted" roms are there just for emulators that don't decrypt that well? Yes, this is how I've understood it.
  16. FBA is also open source to my knowledge, so if you have l33t coding skills, you can change the buttons yourself. What buttons are we talking about here anyway? Hotkeys or what?
  17. What files are reported as missing?
  18. There aren't any differences, provided that the original encrypted roms weren't altered in any way other that just to decrypt them. You're right about the other things you said. Encrpyted sets are only "true to the original" because the roms were encrypyted on the arcade board as well.
  19. Just download 2.0 and read the changelog. Not much else to it. there are too many changes for me to just list them for you here.
  20. You'd be better off asking the actual developers, but don't count on them being too interested in your "proposal".
  21. I honestly haven't found any differences in Garou's Set 1 and Set 2. I flockling hate clone sets. Long story short, SNK started using new encryption methods in their arcade boards around 1999. Encrypted sets are considerably larger than decrypted sets because encrypted roms do not compress well.
  22. have you checked http://www.doom9.org ?
  23. I truly hope that Bandai does something really, since.hack//INFECTION, MUTATION etc. were mediocre. I really didn't enjoy those, except for the free episode of.hack//LIMINALITY. I personally loved the PS2 series. Part of me wants a sequel to be an MMO and another part wants it to be a free-form RPG. I'm not sure the basic system is good enough to make an MMO though, which saddens me somewhat. Even simple multiplayer would be nice. There's so much potential in that series, I hope it isn't wasted. I agree with the potential. INFECTION was pretty good, untill it started to get too repetitive for my tastes. If you care for my opinion the battle system in itself is a mess and chaotic + the enemies seem unfair in terms of strenght. The cutscenes are nice and the games have a surprisingly good soundtrack. The combat system was one of the best parts, imo. As well as the almost random dungeons. The enemies aren't overpowered either, though some can be hard if you aren't prepared. Eh... Maybe I just didn't get the hang of it. I was always dead or close to dying and BlackRose wasn't exactly much help in battles. It almost felt like I spent most of the time trying to help her so she wouldn't get flattened.
  24. George Lucas originally wrote Star Wars as 9 parts, but it is to be seen if he ever directs the remaning 3 episodes.
  25. Sorry, a mental lapse just occurred. Nevermind. You mean it doesn't recognize your CPS1/2 games at all?
