  1. You could use full HTTP URLs so that we wouldn't have to copy and paste the address everytime to access the page. Sure, a minor gripe but still.
  2. Ohhh, great. Excellent work. Although I still prefer my PS2 emulator that's inside a black square box, with controller ports and all.
  3. Nope and most likely never will be.
  4. I love you all. no kidding.
  5. Song of forum?
  6. You got that right. Some sets might have enabled bosses and such, but the differences are almost non-existant. Basically, encrypted sets are in one way or the other, closest match (or dead-on match) to how the roms were on the actual arcade board. You really should not worry about your e-wang, if you just care about the fact that you have every game, and not about having every single variation out there. EDIT: btw, ass isn't censored.
  7. Tie Fighter is teh sex. Have you noticed that quite a few Str Wars games after that have been mediocre at best, excluding a few gems of course?
  8. Uh, thanks I guess. btw, I do have episodes when I just can't handle n00bs with a straight face. Seriously.
  9. My own head. AKA I don't use set integrity dats because I don't care about correctness. I care about playability and portability. If you want a real answer about what dat to use, I'd still go with Logiqx's dats. As for clones and hacks, doesn't logiqx really have anything on those? I use NeoRAGEx, Nebula/Kawaks Loader for the sole reason that I don't have to worry about fixing romsets when using those. James most likely disagrees with me, since he's more into "accurate emulation. EDIT: The problem with MAME is that everything is hardcoded, so you pretty much need a specific set of roms... Unless you want to compile your very own build which supports the sets you have.
  10. Hahahah... Only works if you live in the US.
  11. What do you mean 'what is this'? A port from the Neo-Geo CD. As of why GameFAQs doesn't recognize it, I have no clue.
  12. According to google. Yes. Hmm... Fascinating. GameFAQs doesn't recognize such.
  13. If you are talking about the "updated" Nebula that plays these games, no, you may not link to that here. DATs are fine.
  14. No, you can't play it in english. I have the Neo-Geo CD version, and I haven't played the other ports... but I'd say that the PSX version is also worth a look. EDIT: Wait, is there actually a PSX port?
  15. Vandal Hearts II is great. Splinter Cell. I'm stuck. Goddammit.
  16. Thanks for the heads up Weirdy, I still haven't tried the story mode.
  17. I did the same with the CPS-2 game Quiz Nanairo Dreams. It looked nice so it was fun to play. And I still have it.
  18. They still shouldn't put fake crap up like that.
  19. Just turn off the sound dammit.
  20. It makes the texturing on the energy and POW bars to look like it should (at least I think it should look like that, I'm not sure though). EDIT: It seems that the original SS5SP has single-colored lifebars and simple guard crush meter texturing.
  21. Yes, just make sure that it doesn't save the file as "something.cue.txt" thnx....is there a way to rate this web site??? if not ill just say it right here ***** 10/10 I think we had a thread a while back where you could rate the site, but it's long forgotten.
  22. Yes, just make sure that it doesn't save the file as "something.cue.txt"
  23. Very nice, I always wondered where neo04's patch archive went to.
  24. Notepad can open almost any file, not just text file you know. Just go to the Open dialog and select to show all files. Then just pick the right file. When you are saving the changes, make sure that you sve it as a CUE file (as in, type in the extension as well and make sure you are not saving it as a text file).
  25. I though I just put the patches in there... I need to look into that. Regardless, nice. Did you use the S1 fix too?
