  1. The blue swirl is for PAL Dreamcasts and the red is for NTSC. To be quite honest, I don't understand it either. I was able to reproduce the problem you had (and every other guy), and I just couldn't figure what the problem was. So as the final measure, I overwrote my Dc_bios.bin and Dc_flash.bin with the ones I had as backup. My swirl turned blue and it asked for the time/date only once (you can guess that the emulator will loop the BIOS screen if it asks you to set the date/time twice). Then it put me to the BIOS screen. I selected Play, and voila, my Ikaruga ran. EDIT: After doing some testing, I believe I have a magical Dc_flash.bin backup that makes the emulator work right. If I delete that Dc_flash.bin, my swirl turns red, and asks to set the date/time everytime I start the emulator... Truly baffling. Well, I could put my Dc_flash.bin up for download, since it isn't the BIOS itself. Check out my sites for greatest justice of all [/plug]
  2. hmm... worked for me last time. Do you have Dc_bios.bin and Dc_flash.bin? Try deleting Dc_flash.bin.
  3. Spyware companies are fringe, but the current trend is that they are onsidered more and more illegal.
  4. Your console lacking a modchip is exactly why it doesn't work, you know. Why do you think Sony went through all that trouble to put region lockouts on all their consoles? In short, you need a modchip or a slidecard + bootdisc combo.
  5. Do NOT change the date/time from the default value [11/271998 00:00].Chankast doesn't emulate the Dreamcast RTC correctly and will go to an infinite loop if the values are changed. I said this in another Chankast thread, but I guess it's time for me to make a sticky/help about Chankast and ePSXe respectively.
  6. This build was released just moments ago, Although the date points to yesterday. Whats New: * ALL: ST second cart now supported (via command line). 7. Most being the operative word there. Files like 512k M1 or the S1 inside P1 are not supported by NeoRAGEx for example.
  8. Man, almost 3 hours... I wouldn't have been able to pull that one off.
  9. Is the recording available already?
  10. Final Fantasy XI: Chains of Promathia OST
  11. First site that wasn't loaded with spyware? Interesting. Welcome.
  12. If I've understood things correctly, It will overwrite your original save if you save on the same memory card.
  13. If it would be any longer than that, people would get bored.
  14. yeah, if one of the guests doesn't show up, you can put on "Story Time With Fatal Rose" and hear tales of life and a trip to mexico I would drop all my work just to listen to that. He can tell us about Claire. Dude, I'd be there on the double.
  15. The modding should damage the lazer, or if it does, it's one shoddy mod job. The PS2 needs it's own modchip, and it does play PSX and PS2 backups (it would be pretty stupid if it didn't).
  16. Ah, I got it know. I found one single page, but it's a 404.
  17. You don't need programs to convert from BIN to ROM, just rename the file manually.
  18. It has to be fake. I want some confirmation from CPS2Shock, dammit.
  19. First of all, what is Ensata.zip?
  20. Try http://www.codejunkies.com
  21. Happy 26th birthday to Permethium. I hope he checks this sometime in the near future.
  22. NeoPocott is way old and slow. Use NeoPop, it's free, and totally awesome.
  23. That's from Samurai Champloo, isn't it? Noir OST II
  24. Typing of the Dead rules. "The chaos of the city is increasing!" The HOTD 2 machine at my school arcade is censored. Yeah, TotD must be the pinnacle of voice acting and script no doubt.
  25. I'd still go with the slim PS2.
