You guys can help me out now. I want to know how many save blocks RE: Director's Cut, RE2 and RE3: Nemesis need, and do they let you choose between Memory Cards slots or force to save in Slot 1 only. I'm asking because I'm making a database of my emulated PSX games, and as of now, I don't have the time to hunt down Ink Ribbons and typewriters to check for myself.

How is that possible? Even the most basic pre-built computers (my old system being a prime example) came with a Windows OEM disc.

What GameCop said is the truth. Only certain CD/DVD-ROM drive models can read original GD-ROM discs, and only with a right firmwar update flashed. If you want to play Dreamcast games on an emulator, you need CD images or CD-R backups.

The automatic booting in Windows XP is because Windows gets BSOD'd. How to fix it is an extremely difficult question.

COM files are a thing of the past, and the only thing that still uses it nowadays is the Commandline Interpreter (Comman.com). COMs were widely used back in the day when DOS was "the" OS. Like most people said already, if you spot a COM file in your computer, it's most likely a virus (although there are exceptions).
