  1. Third picture from the second batch is so yay. Man, I thought LSD stopped posting these altogether.
  2. Heh, 17 FTW. Who am I kidding? All of them are true.
  3. That goes for any Final Fantasy board over there, but yeah anything FFVII-related... I don't want to think about that. The game is awesome, but the fanbase is so "out there".
  4. You need to extract the CD image from the RAR file. EDIT: Gah, Madman got here first.
  5. AnimeDB, better than AnimeNfo in many ways.
  6. Half-proves my point, with the added bonus that even germans haven't heard of it. Wells there lot to discover on the Internet, surly you should know that? Naturally, but I think that some stones should be left unturned.
  7. Seeing as you already have a Loader, you are almost at home base. There should be a file called ASR.DAT in the Kawaks folder (NEOGEO.DAT for Nebula in romdata folder). This file holds the DATs for all games supported by Kawaks. The DAT specifies what set to look for, what files are in it, how big they are, individual CRC values and and other info. Open this file in Notepad to see what it contains. I suggest that you take a look at the pinned "List of all the Dat Files" topic. Copy/paste a DAT file from that thread into your own ASR.DAT and save the file. If the filenames, CRCs or other crucual info found in the DATs doesn't match the set you have, you can easily change the necessary things by hand. If all went well, when you fire up Kawaks Loader and rescan your romsets, with any luck the new game(s) which DATs you put in ASR.DAT show up in the games list.
  8. Which reminded me of the heavy opcode use in Nintendo64 games...
  9. Half-proves my point, with the added bonus that even germans haven't heard of it.
  10. What did you expect from an emulation community?
  11. Like most people who have watched Chankast from the sidelines at least know that Virtua Striker 2 got emulated in Chankast. But then again, that was a private build that hasn't leaked to the public, and there's no word from the Chanka Team. So you'll just have to wait.
  12. Erm, wasn't the 2.0 firmware cracked already? I'm quite sure I read about it.
  13. You've been told many times why we will not help you to find roms. Why is it so hard for you to understand?
  14. Even though you semi-replied to a guy that hasn't been on this board in ages, I'll give you my two cents. It's pretty random when the "normal" decapitations whatever occur, but... If you finish the opponent with a stabbing attack, there's a chance that opponent will spray blood and fall to the ground. If you use a strong slash atatck (either from top to bottom or bottom to top), there's a chance that the opponent gets cut in half or loses a bodypart.
  15. Delete Garou's EEPROM files, and then configure your controls again.
  16. bSNES starts to be more accurate than ZSNES in some areas.
  17. Actually, I had the same problem with the controls not working in nebula just now, after I deleted some EEPROM files. I just needed to configure the inputs for Player 1 again, and after that, everything was back to normal.
  18. Have you actually bothered to look in Nebula's Input config to see if the keys are correct? Just look there after loading KOF2003. Please.
  19. That is the fully decrypted non-prototype version of Garou that works in NeoRAGEx. Nebula doesn't have a DAT for it. It doesn't work in Nebula for some reason and gives the "SNK Warning" My DAT: %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% System: NEO RomName: Garou Mark of the Wolves Game: Garou: Mark of the Wolves [Program] motw_p1.rom,0,800000,FA50E446,0 [Text] motw_s1.rom,0,80000,BE2BA1A5,0 [Z80] motw_m1.rom,0,40000,36A806BE,0 [Samples] motw_v1.rom,0,400000,263E388C,0 motw_v2.rom,400000,400000,2C6BC7BE,0 motw_v3.rom,800000,400000,425B27D,0 motw_v4.rom,C00000,400000,A54BE8A9,0 [Graphics] motw_c1.rom,0,800000,497BE3F2,0 motw_c2.rom,1,800000,6A9E95CA,0 motw_c3.rom,1000000,800000,39373D2F,0 motw_c4.rom,1000001,800000,4DE23F6C,0 motw_c5.rom,2000000,800000,16634BA5,0 motw_c6.rom,2000001,800000,95671FFD,0 motw_c7.rom,3000000,800000,E36CE77F,0 motw_c8.rom,3000001,800000,DDBD1096,0 [System] CartridgeID: 253 GfxCrypt: 0 GfxKey: 0 ButLayout: 9 Fix: 0 I'll contact ElSemi and see if he's willing to shed some light into this matter.
  20. The P1 rom is protected, and you need to get another P1 or find an IPS patch for it. Fix:0 works for me just fine, but then again, I've patched my P1. However, you can go around the protection without pathing, but you need the Universe BIOS for that.
  21. He diesn't have to use RomDatamaker since all the info is in that DAT already.
  22. Burnout Revenge or Ninja Gaiden Black.
  23. 2.25. I used 2.24 before with no problems.
  24. Bankswitching is a type of protection used in newer Neo-Geo games. A type of memory mapping to be exact. There is nothing wrong with your DAT. Like I said before, other people have had issues in Nebula in the form of the controls not working. Honestly, I don't know how it can be fixed.
  25. Not just probably, they will. Not if they don't have the bankswitch removed Yes, true. A minor issue.
