  1. Yes, of course it work like that as well. But it's much easier to keep the BIOs separate if you have many games. Who likes to manually add the BIOS files to every Neo-Geo set they have?
  2. Great. I'll go look for it then. EDIT: Found it. Oh joy.
  3. Actually there are quite a few of them. svc, svcc, svcchaos, svccb, svcplus etc. (there are a few more, but I don't remember those) basically there aren't any differences. Most of the sets are clones 8svcchaosa etc), and few are hacks. SVCCHAOS is the original *correct* game dumped from a PCB. SVCB was dumped from a bootleg, has has a list of bugs that can be fixed with patches. SVCPLUS is probably the most common set, also a bootleg, but has all the hidden characters and bosses selectable, has bugs that can be patched, and some extra graphics in the title screen and whatnot that nobody cares about.
  4. No links to roms are allowed. However, use EGCG NeoRAGEx instead and you don't have to worry about the Bank Error. Check the 1Emulation download section (NeoRAGEx Final v4.ac).
  5. i've found a Nebula loader, placed it into the the same folder as Nebula, ran it, and it states "unknown version of nebula". I'm using Nebula 2.25, but I've tried it with nebula 2.24, still same thing happens. I've also found a program called Romdatmaker- will this achieve the same thing or are they two totally different things? If you don't wish to discuss it on the board, could someone plz PM me? There is no Loader for 2.25, but there is one for 2.24. The one you found was probably for an even older version, so 2.24 won't work with it. Why shouldn't we discuss this on the board? RomDataMaker just makes DAT files for you, so you don't have to write them by hand; I've never used that myself though.
  6. Every console has a rocky start, and with the PSP most games have been ports of highly successful titles on the PS2/PSX. Then are tons of excellent games coming out for both the PSP and the DS.
  7. Shadow of the Colossus was never intended to be long, just like ICO. I know that but to me people are beating them too quickly. I like to take my time with a game. Same here.
  8. "His PSP is as useful as a brick right now."
  9. Shadow of the Colossus was never intended to be long, just like ICO.
  10. Yeah when 486 was first released That was rude... Ash X: You can't make newer games work with the regular Nebula/Kawaks because the games have been locked. You need to hunt down a Loader, which will remove the locks and allow you to create your custom DATs for any game.
  11. Haha, some poor dude Babelfished the russian post.
  12. Errr... and your point is? have you ever tried making your own Dreamcast CD images?
  13. These video card debates are kind of moot if you ask me. Lots of ATI users have complained that they've had nothing but trouble with nVIDIA, and nVIDIA users have complained that they've had nothing but trouble with ATI cards. It really boils down to what kind of hardware one has, what drivers you have for the hardware, what video card model you have, and what drivers one uses for his/her video card. Add these factors together, and you'll either get something that's flocking awesome or something that's totally crap. It's just like the console wars thing. Fanboys will forever, speaks with high praise about their favorite company, while trashing and grinding the opposition to the ground.
  14. Exactly. Haha. Thirded for great justice.
  15. NeoRAGEx is still the easiest to use when it comes to the GUI and available configuration options. Yeah ok, it isn't as feature-rich as the others, but from the beginning, it was only meant to provide only the utmost neceassary stuff and a few screen filters. Today's emulators are like Leathermans.
  16. Gameboy is by far the easiest to emulate out of all the handhelds/consoles.
  17. This bug has been in NeoRAGEx from the beginning. NRX doesn't emulate the Select button properly when in Console Mode (since the Select button is used to bring up the Practice manu). It isn't just KOF2003, but it's also present in a slew of other titles as well. No, you can't do anything about it, except to use another emulator. Personally, I use Nebula Loader, because it let's me specify what sets to use. And finally, define "ugly".
  18. Very well. I'll be waiting for your findings.
  19. Quite honestly, I haven't used any of those programs nor I do I own a Dreamcast nor have I ever made my own CD images. I simply get my games from the internet. Already selfboot, and they will boot in Chankast, but not necessarily work right.
  20. I added myself. God, I feel so lonely.
  21. Indeed. This has been all over the intarweb since yesterday. jack doesn't know when to flocking quit.
  22. You'd better leave it outside as Neogeo.zip
  23. Yes. People, I am starting to get tired to see that when people join an emulation board, they don't bother to read the rules. Reading the rules on an emulation/gaming site is crucial. Why? I'm sure you can figure that one out (if you have at least half a brain).
  24. Ah, ok, thanks for your reply. But exactly, what it means? ------------------------------------------- I explain better my situation. I have not selfbootable but working games, and I want them all selfbootable. After I've done the selfboot process, chanka gives me that error. Input/Output Control error. Chankast can not read from the image and write to memory for whatever reason.
  25. Hehe, with the latest Omega Drivers, I can basically set Doom 3 on High Detail and my Radeon 9800 Pro renders everything without much lagging (except in certain spots).
