  1. Ah, ok. If the site said it's playable, then it is. However, something makes the emulator close with an error, so no, you can't play it. What plugins were you using and what processor do you have? (and how fast?)
  2. That sucks man. What kind of company was it? Not much to do except to start looking for a new job...
  3. I'm quite fond of Super 2XSaI filter or the HQxx filter (when they work without slowdown). VisualBoy Advance with HQ2x is a treat to the eyes.
  4. Many games do not work with PCSX2, and even if they did, they would run approx. 5-15fps depending on your system. I wouldn't call that playable. Besides, I've heard no info that God of War works in PCSX2 to begin with. Regarding the error, there's not much you can do, as part of the program executed an illegal operation. One would probably need a 7Ghz computer with the latest 512MB dual core graphics card, to get a steady 60/60 framerate, and still that's just a guestimate.
  5. James said Socket 7. Older Pentium (1) processors need Socket 7 motherboards. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_7
  6. It has advanced quite a bit, thanks to the likes of SSF and such. However, the fact of the matter remains that every Saturn emulator renders everything in software (like the real console does) which is why emulation is so slow. So yes, one needs a behemoth of a computer to run the games at full speed. Yeah, an actual console is still the better option... if you can find one. I sure as hell can't.
  7. ROFL. That guy can't even spell worth damn.
  8. Famicom. Pasofami plays NES, SNES, Gameboy, Sega Genesis, and Game Gear games.
  9. I'd have to disgree, but then again, these are just all opinions. Doom 3 suffered because it was hyped to death. It wasn't as awesome as people hoped it would be, but it certainly wasn't crappy.
  10. Well, there you have it. Athlon's only support MMX and 3DNow! instructions, Athlon XP's support MMX. SSE and 3DNow!, and Athlon 64's MMX. SSE, SSE2 and 3DNow! Chankast requires at least SSE.
  11. Dude, do you always base your taste in games on generalizations? Hell, most console RPGs *in general are too similar*, yet most of my PS2 games are RPGs, and yet I don't question what's the point of having so many. Same with fighting games, same with FPSes, etc. etc. ... But yeah, that was just you speaking. ... It's those little things that make games worth having.
  12. Indeed it is. Anything pretty = girl's best friend. Thirded. If that were true, girls would be all over me.
  13. Yes, but it's a seriously improved version. More weapons, moves, graphics, almost anything you can think of... + that level editor.
  14. Get it, try it. I haven't tried it myself, but I heard good things about it (a level editor wtf). Too bad it was only released in Japan. Anyways, do get Tenchu 2 too.
  15. Gran Turismo 4 is online. In Europe at least... or then I'm dreaming.
  16. From what I've been hearing, FarCry Instincts on the Box is pretty good. Still it's not something the PC players haven't seen already. About HL2 and it's Box screenshots, it looks quite inferior.
  17. Trust me, the subtitled version is better, at least it was with Shaolin Soccer. The english version of that movie sucked big time. I have to agree, and I've seen both versions. Dubbing *usually* rapes a movie, just ask any sane person who's been in a movie theater in Germany.
  18. Yes, but we totally need to overhaul the forums, since there are too many subcategories already.
  19. Not an e-book; the book will be available in stores.
  20. Ikaruga is slow at times even on the most powerful systems.
  21. I'm almost inclined to put the 'I see what you did there' picture here... Anyways, welcome.
  22. Hey, I didn't do it. But you know, let's leave it at that. This thread is only for introductions.
  23. Please familiarize yourself with the Forum Attack System and read the stuff found on its respective forum.
  24. It's not hearsay, it's true.
