  1. The game has far better sound than any of the other NEs games thanks to that extra chip, and you aren't the only one who says that it's almost like TG-16. While extra chips in SNES carts are no big deal, and extra chip in a NES cart was/is truly revolutionary. And yes, that custom palette blows the emulators' original palettes out of the water. AspiringSquire tested his palette against his own NES when he made sure that the colors would be as accurate as possible.
  2. Should it say something different?
  3. What a great flocking way to break the board rules. Link removed and topic closed. Shiba, you should know better not to ask for something like this.
  4. I did this test 3 weeks ago, and got 4 right. I can't tell the difference. :/
  5. If you don't have anything better to say, GTFO. Post that crap in Spam instead.
  6. You are truly hellbent on getting Lagrange Point to work Eh, that extra sound chip does cause problems in many NES emulators.
  7. I was slow this time. :/ But yeah, all that I was going to say has already been said. NeoRAGEx doesn't have netplay and it never will.
  8. Signed, with Ryuken's blood.
  9. No. What's gone is gone.
  10. PS2 owners gets everything. Nothing for XBoxers Correction. XBox 360 in the U.S. PS2 in Japan. Truth to the flocking 200%.
  11. Seems that the deleting is sometimes random and sometimes it wipes everything.
  12. Is there? Are you absolutely sure?
  13. There is no way to get them back unless you made a backup. Fatal Rose had the same problem a while back. Lesson: Always backup your bookmarks.
  14. Do japanese or other east-asian characters display correctly on your machine or is it just garbage? Again, if it's the latter, change the Windows locale to japanese and try again. You can easily change the locale of certain programs without having to reboot by downloading Microsoft AppLocale from MS' site. I'll look more into this matter
  15. For translations, The Whirlpool is the place to go.
  16. Yes. Even though each world has 4 levels, you can only choose one of them. Yes, short.
  17. I thought /fastdetect is automatically included in the load/boot options... You messed up pretty good, but it's great that you figured it out.
  18. Earthbound on the SNES. Mother 1 was never released in english, it was originally for the NES. Earthbound on SNES is Mother 2. Mother 3, aka Earthbound 2, is for GBA, Mother 64 (Formerly Mother 3) was canceled because the development team didn't really have enough experience with 3D in general. The game was very buggy, but it was different and had the feel of randomness Mother/Earthbound gave out. I knew I went wrong somewhere when I made that post. I knew what games were on what system, but forgot. :/ Oh well.
  19. Most *older* (if not all) console games are written in Assembly, as well as the console's CPU instructions. Yes, knowledge of Assembly is not necessarily required to write an emulator, but understanding it makes it a lot easier to understand how data is processed in the hardware and how "machine-code" works.
  20. ZSNES was updated once again. Get it from Ipher's WIP Site.
  21. It's your member rank. Along with it, there is a preset title, which you don't see since you customized it.
  22. Earthbound on the SNES.
  23. WinISO, but you need to crack it.
  24. Does it stall in the middle of the installation process or it doesn't start installing at all, but shows a screen with some text and a Cancel button? If it's the latter, you need to change the compatibility mode for the installer to Win98 or Win2000.
  25. For the palette problem, you might want to try AspiringSquire's NES palette, it seems pretty damn accurate to me. http://filespace.org/AspiringSquire/
