You do have the Neo-Geo BIOS, right? P.S. MAME doesn't "open in MS-DOS". You used the regular Windows command-line driven MAME, which expects arguments before doing anything. Double-clicking the executable is the same thing as running it without arguments, which in turn does nothing.

Change ForceManaged=1 to 0 like it should be. Unless the emulator crashes of course (i.e. read what the text says and act accordingly). Managed textures are extremely slow in some cases.

Huhs? I never got no bios files, my No$GBA runs DS games fine. Whatchoo smokin Willis? Same with iDeaS..... How strange, you're right. I wonder if the developer did something extraordinary with the code since I can clearly remember that you needed the NDS BIOS files to boot games in early version of No$Gba. Go figure, looks like you really don't need those after all. :/

I have similar sentiments, however, there are a few animes that have very good english dubbing. Akira, Cowboy Bebop, and Ninja Scroll come to mind.

If you are writing a guide for newbies and those looking for answers, you could mention that No$Gba (like all the other NDS emulators) requires the NDS BIOS files. pinobot: What version are you using?
