  1. I am quite fond of my "manbag". Bought it last August.
  2. Another vote for uTorrent. I choose to stay away from Azureus thanks to it's ties to Java.
  3. Unfortunately, no. Unless you consider MAME an alternative, which I highly doubt.
  4. IIRC, mudlord's VBA-M build already has or is going to have a good netplay component in the future. I don't care about netplay, so my info is vague at best.
  5. Hm, another one of those must-have PSP titles. Symphony of the Night just makes this package even better.
  6. Final Fantasy III's save file will get corrupt if you make the mistake of booting the game with an incompatible savetype selected. AFAIK, No$Gba's developre (Martin) will fix this eventually. And no, it shouldn't take 10 minutes to save a game on No$Gba.
  7. I joined. I don't have any games installed atm, but this is a good opportunity to try out TF2, provided that I can get it to run smoothly.
  8. Good luck with that. I started working last Monday, so my time's pretty limited as well. Anyway, when you do get better internets, welcome back.
  9. R.Belmont and Co. occasionally show some progress pictures of PSX hardware games, but other than that, ZiNc's got no steam and that's a damn shame (no matter what the devs blurt out).
  10. I can't find older consoles anymore and I never owned any consoles when I was a kid. Well, I did have a Gameboy, but that's it. I bought a PSX the same day FFVIII came out in Europe, with my own money. So, I emulate because of these reasons, and because I live in Europe. We never got any of the good games, and we're still playing the third fiddle in everything game related. Unless it's EA's annual sports update or something of that sort.
  11. H2O Minami-ke True Tears Rosario+Vampire and a bunch of older ones still running.
  12. Joy2Key. Although I can't understand for the life of me why would you need more than one.
  13. My work practice started today at 9 sharp. Fairly uneventful day, as I had to start getting a feel to the place and to add insult to injury the place where I was today wasn't even the one I'll be working tomorrow. It probably would have helped my mood a bit if I hadn't rolled around in my bed for something like three hours, just because my personal demons decided to have a flocking field trip last night. I'm tired.
  14. 2: because the 40GB one was stripped of most important component that made the PS3 backwards compatible, namely the PS2's Emotion Engine.
  15. Hosx64 is probably eligible for some kind of a price for being the most frequently updated emulator in recent history.
  16. Depends on what you really want from a game. RE4 for the GameCube has better graphics and cutscenes done real-time using the game engine. The PS2 version has poorer graphics (but still very good considering the aging hardware of the PS2), the cutscenes are video clips instead of real-time rendering, and the game has truckloads of more content. The PC version was ported from the GameCube version, and has the same content as the PS2 version. The only drawbak is that the PC version has video clip cutscenes instead of real-time rendering (same deal as it was with the PS2 version, I simply can't understand why).
  17. IIRC, like many other emulator regardless of system, VisualBoy Advance stores SRAM contents in savestates, so that would probably mean "No". Don't take my word for this though.
  18. You need to make sure that Port A has a joystick plugin selected. (Options --> Configure Plugins)
  19. F-Zero GX is made of win on the GameCube. Tales of Symphonia Metroid Prime 1/2 Resident Evil Remake Resident Evil 0 Baten Kaitos II: The First Wings and the Heirs of God Pikmin 1/2 Paper Mario: A Thousand Year Door Eternal Darkness Ikaruga (duh) Viewtiful Joe 1/2 (double duh) Resident Evil 4 (triple duh) Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (despite half-assed sailing, still good) Skies of Arcadia Legends Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess (unless you happen to own a Wii)
  20. Options --> Maple --> Port A --> Config. Seriously, it doesn't take very long to go through the different menus the emulator has.
  21. No. Read the board rules. Dreamcast games aren't ROMs.
