  1. IIRC, it's been like that for a while now. There is a free version to my understanding, but I still refuse to call any version of DT spyware. Unless there's reasonable doubt that the adware they use is really spyware. Seriously, adware gets a bad rap these days. Then again, you could always acquire the Pro version through other "channels".
  2. You don't download anything from uTorrent, you download it using uTorrent or any other BitTorrent client (if you are using BitTorrent to download it, that is). Yes, you can burn the game to a disc and then play it on your PS2 provided that you have a modded PS2.
  3. Did you actually enabled the VMUs under Options --> Select Plugins?
  4. That might happen sooner than expected, at least if an interview conducted by EuroGamer is to be believed.
  5. Too many to count, but if I had to pick... A Great Spirit Lies in Wait (Okami)
  6. Updated the list for those who find it useful.
  7. That's awesome. I'd just wish that these things wouldn't turn into vaporware so easily.
  8. Registering multiple accounts is a bannable offense. When you are temp banned, that really means that you are temp banned.
  9. No, there aren't any filters. It looks smooth on YouTube because a) the image quality is nowhere near the same as on your monitor, and you can probably get the edges somewhat smoother by forcing AA levels through your video card drivers, although forcing such can lead to other artifacts and undesirable effects.
  10. How many times do we have to tell you to not ask where to find copyrighted games on the Internet? Isn't two warnings enough of a hint for you? For the final time: Read the board rules before you go requesting stuff.
  11. No. Maximum Impact was never released for the PC. You might have better luck locating the image of the PS2 version (as I already told you in another thread).
  12. Yeah, creating shortcuts with predefined switches works too.
  13. I don't think you need to change the extension of the image to .ISO; you should keep it .GCM unless FstFix demands a certain file extension. However, looking at the execution log above with you experimenting on the "renamed monster", omit the extension of the image completely and just use "[path to FSTFIX, whatever it is]\fstfix zelda t f" and pass that line to the program.
  14. ... ... Options "t" and "f" correspond to switches that you have to pass to the commandline program (FSTFIX.EXE) before or after you've passed the filename to the program (whether switches are defined before of after the filename depends on the program). It does NOT mean that you need to rename the filename to "fstfix down-zelda.gmc t f". (seriously, files of such nature do not exist without user error; filenames have a name portion of varying length, followed by the extension of varying length, usually three letters, and NOTHING after that). What you are trying to tell the commandline program with the haphazard renaming and dragging is to try and process a file called "fstfix down-zelda.gmc t f" that doesn't have an extension.
  15. Try VBA-M. Perhaps mudlord and co. have implemented the feature you want in the SVN builds. Or not.
  16. I'm quite fond of Soul Calibur 3. Then again, all are good, so ít's hard to pick. Can't say anything about DOA 4 nor Budokai Tenkaichi 3, though
  17. There is no need to quote yourself, nor make multiple posts in a row. If you need to add something, edit your old post. What kind of hack is kof97yk exactly? I'm asking because a) you can already use many of the features these hacks offer by simply using cheats, and Ther should be no need for a loader as the newest official release is Kawaks 1.59 (all original Neo-Geo games are already supported). As for those type of hacks that cannot be activated via cheats, MAME Plus! offer these hacks in and IPS patch collection that patches roms on the fly provided that you have the correct MAME set of the original game.
  18. Very good news for the Aussies indeed. Religious nutjobs are the last people that should have a say in what's acceptable in video games and what's not.
  19. Yeah, it's excellent. The fact that you always have to exploit the enemies elemental weaknesses in order to have some semblance of survival kinda erodes the fun a little bit. Needless to say, Digital Devil Saga 2 is a must, as it finishes the story. Plus, the gameplay has changed for the better and the soundtrack is much better too.
  20. No. The reason why MAME Plus Plus was able to play Gauntlet Legends et al was because it used ZiNc's graphics plugins (as in, hardware accelerated OpenGL or Direct3D plugins) that are understandably much faster than MAME's software-driven approach. Also, the reason that you can't find MAME Plus Plus so easily is because the MAME devs issued an ultimatum to the MPP developer. Thus, the development of said build has been halted and official links removed. However, since we're on the Internet, saying "I just can't find it" is total bullshit, plain and simple. You don't even have to search for the plugins, as ZiNc already has them.
  21. No, you can't. Not in MAME anyway. The PS2 version might be another matter.
  22. Make sense or I'm going to delete this thread. To reiterate: What?
