hows it going. 1.yes this runs the same frontend as this is just an advancement of coinops,what version do you have? 2.the midway games still run choppy with sound on but with sound off it runs full speed.your choices are mameox0.72 or the mk pack which have mk1,2and3 ripped from the midway arcade treasure games and play at full speed. 3.the mvc game question i think it has been fixed wasnt it a problem with filters or something? if you wished if you are using a cab you can have it boot straight to whats called menu-x which gives you the choice to boot up coinops ignite or say the mk pack. oh yeah and dont forget the killer instinct arcade1and2 emulator as well.

for me strider,ghoulsnghosts,forgotten worlds on the megadrive and contra3,tmnt turtles in time on the super famicom.still got my super famicom with these games and streetfighter2 imported from japan for £100 back in the day.

mk4 dosent emulate at all full stop on mame for xbox,the other mk games emulate but need sound turned off in the later versions.

i never played that machine as i had a commodore 64 at the time. but concerning platformers id reckon that manic miner was released for the machine.

LOL, sorry to hear that fu, hopefully someone, somewhere one day will have one up and running. I know on guy said a while back ago he was working on a port but that was ages ago. HF- yeah i remember someone over at xs was working on one and then did a disappearing act. im not really to bothered i was just trying it out to help someone who was trying to get it to run. i did find a site where the guy who ported the bbc emu to the gba had ported some bbc games to gba,the most notable of these was elite.dont know if you remeber that one but it was big on the home micros at the time most notably on the bbc.

spending the las t 2 hours pi$$ing about with bbc emulators trying to get them to run. conclusion. dosxbox didnt run always got an error. winuaex-loaded and worked until you actually play a game,to say it was choppy is an understatement. gba-again loaded but had the same results as the amiga. result=FAIL!

give me third strike over this game anyday.

when you say 4 i presume you mean ultimate mortal kombat3? your choices 1.use mameox0.72,emulates games fully with sound. 2.get pcsxbox and download mortal kombat trilogy.in my opinion you dont need mk1-3 after you have this. 3.get a hold of the mortal kombat pack which has mk1-3 emulated perfectly as they were ripped from the midway arcade tresure games.if you want a link send me a pm. by the way mk4 can be emulated in surreall64xxx.

if you have xbmc or unleashx check the file explorer for the dvd-drive letter. you would be better off just putting the emus on your xbox hdd and then burning the roms to dvd and changing the rom path in each emu to point to the dvd-drive.

well iq good luck with the pgm stuff it seems like its going well so far. the arm core would be great if it works on xbox,keeps fingers crossed.

as far as i know this has already been tried and apparently it dosent play under linux on xbox for whatever number of reasons. havent had the chance t try this yet as ive been busy with real life,but today hopefully.

are you using an older version of ignite or the officical release that came out last month?

when you mention the arm-7 core,which games run on this in fba?i know most of them run on the mc68000 processer or a chip based on said processer is it the pgm games you are talking about? i need to do a bit more homework on this. also osman isnt in regular fba on pc yet,wouldnt the arm-7 coe need more processing power anyway than what the xbox has got?733mhz celeron processor with 64mb ram,thats cutting it a bit fine but prove me wrong PLEASE!!!

if i remember correctly in some of the youtube tutorials i seen there was 2 files IIRC.

just go into advanced settings and turn on vmm and see if it loads up.

looking at the sega games you added i would reckon it wouldnt be a case of just adding the driver,mame on xbox would need a whole core update as turbo outrun,super monaco gp....are all fd encrypted games which i think it was the mame0.88 before they were all fully emulated. concerning the raiden fighters games hk$(mameox128)originally put the driver into mameox to get raiden fighters2(2000)working and that game is on cheaper hardware than the original sebuisp1 arcade board. raiden fighters jet does load in mameox128 and you get the title screen and it runs in attract mode but as soon as you hit the start button it crashes. concerning the fd encrypted games(turbo outrun...)nes6502(zsnexbox porter)is working on a new version of fba,called fba legends.which is basically going to be 2 fbas in one.it will have the original final burn which plays the sega games like powerdrift,afterburner,galaxy force...and there is also going to be a port of a newer version of fba which will play all the fd encrypted games.

ok thanks for the reply iq. im going to give this a try tommorrow as there are a few options i can try. 1.beebem on visualboyadvance for xbox. 2.beebem on dosxbox. 3.beeb emu on winuaex. 4.use amigsy4(a new interface and amiga tools workshop)running through winuaex.

hey iq, theres a guy over at another forum who would like to see a bbc micro emulator for xbox and obviously there isnt one ported. i noticed that there have been ports of beebem(popular bbc emu)on different systems like amiga,linux,dos and gba of all things.anyway this got me thinking do you think it would be possible to actually get the bbebem emulator running on dosxbox,visualboyadvance....what do you think. an emulator emulating another emulator on xbox,possible or not enough power under the hood? im not going to bother trying if you think it wouldnt be possible.

I actually like this super contra one of my all-time fave arcade games ,right up there with tmnt arcade looks really good i never realised how much of a difference it looks. certainly looks cool in a pixelated sort of way.
