Maybe the drivers could be updated, I guess I could suggest it. The drivers for Osman/Cannon Dancer should be updated for sure though. Have you ever heard of it? It's made by the same people who made strider! yup ive played it and completed it on pc mame. well you can suggest updating the drivers but why are you so keen to get these games playable when they play great on zsnxbox?

Not yet, but it's on top of our wish list at least, with buggy boy and night slashers among others. osman/cannon dancer,buggy bot and night slashers all get my vote.

well for a start robert dosent have mame on xbox,i am geussing he thought this was pc mame you were talking about. anyway the drivers for those games need to be updated to work on mame for xbox as i tried out these roms about a month ago on mame128 and coinops. contra3 and actraiser do work but as you said very slowly. ask yourself do you really wont to get all the roms working and then play them at the speed the other 2 games are emulated at the moment. the playchoice10(nes)games work fine on coinops as does the vs nes games like gradius.

ok been trying to mess around with a bbc miro emu again but this time a new version for the amiga but still no luck on winuaex. managed to squeeze in nba-jam on mamex-b6,gradius3 on ignite and draculax on medanafenx-pce.

Thanks Gavin, I've picked that up, and also found a complete build with all the roms that same night too. Now I've had a chance to copy them to the box though, I'm getting the error 'Missing resource.xpr' in /Media (this on the full build downloaded elsewhere, the standalone version just seems to restart the box). Now, there doesn't seem to be a lick of info on this forum as to that being file being missing (save for one past 2 years ago) so I seem to be alone with this (the file is of course in neither of the rars I have downloaded), and the only info google brings is mention of when it was left out of some builds (on mameox .79>) back in 2004. I've tried grabbing the 6.4meg version from mamox .79 on xbins, but that didn't work of course (it seems to just be the skin backdrop too). Can anyone help with this one? Is it really just a backdrop I'm missing? Ta I well first of all make sure that you have copied the gamesaves over to the tand u data folders. if it still dosent work then do a clean install,keep the roms and screenshots from the full biuld and check your pm.

heres an updated version of cheats for fbaxxxpro i have uploaded,there were a couple of the xmen vs and xmen children of the atom games that wouldnt let you do cheats as there was an error. well this has been fixed in this file and progear has been added to the cheats.possibly some more are there as well i just havent looked through it all yet. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Z3MG1DM0

I voted for the 500 game set patch as the other features dont really affect me so much well the skins option would be nice.

I finished thhat game about 2 years ago,just wait till you get to the final boss its going to own you over and over. tip.if you complete the game with one credit then after the final boss you get to fight against a secret plane.

hold on a lot of the time when you download a negeo.zip it dosent have the uni-2.3 or whatever you usually have to downlaod seperately anyway and that neogeo.zip i sent you was from neosource from kenshiros thread.

I did that already and it wouldn't even attempt to read the disc. i use dvd-decryptor to burn my xbox isos,you should maybe try that.

I know where that is, infact I was just looking at those builds, did you make them yourself? You should make a build like I suggested with all the popular fighting franchises vs each other. How did you get them to load off the dvd, do you have a tutorial? How big is each build, I might just put them on a multi game disc menu. there only about 300mb each and they are just iso files,so you just unrar the downloads and burn to dvd. and no i didnt make them but it was probably my post you seen at another forum about them.

all drives are different and really picky about media just try burning the dvds in + instead of -.

i can give you links to download 3versions of xmugen which play off dvd or cdrw there is only about 60 characters in each version but if you want to try them i can give you the links. they are ready to burn as they are iso files.

well i tried it on both mamex-b6 and mameox0.72 mamex-b6-locks up and crashes. mameox0.72-plays pretty good you get sound and you get slight framskip but very playable.

actually i just remembered mamex-b6. results. nba jam plays perfect on this emu.(mamex-b6.) nba jam te(tounament edition)plays perfect.(mamex-b6). nba jam hangtime plays good on mameox0.72 dosent load on b6 crashes. i will send you a pm for mamex-b6 as its worth trying nba jam plays flawlessly in my opinion on mamex-b6. you can also use mamex-b6 for narc,mk1and2 and avenging spirit as these games play slower and have problems on later versions of mameox. if you have coinops ignite then you can run mamex-b6 and mameox0.72 on your xbox as they use different gamesaves. also for mameox0.72 mk3,ukm3,nba jam hangtime and primal rage.

there is already a biuld of mameox which runs the midawy games using speed hacks,mameox0.72. check your pm.

mk4 dosent emulate at all full stop on mame for xbox,the other mk games emulate but need sound turned off in the later versions. i was the one who posted mk 1 , 2 and 3 loader BUT umk3 was never in it i am hoping one day that some one will hack that loader and add the umk3 rom to it with perfect sound i had it a long time before you posted it.

i love playing buggy boy especially the c64 version the definite port in my opinion.

yeah like gav said you need to download qwix and extract the iso with that or just burn to cdrw/dvdr snd use unleashx file explorer to copy the files to your hdd from the disc. concerning coinops i can link you to the full biuld includes 1000roms but you need to have 3posts to activate your pm. xbmc is fine for launching all emulators for xbox,you can set xbmc up so it just shows your emus from bootup.
