these games have always played on coinops and earlier versions of mame.

even though mame on xbox has the 0.84 core a lot of drivers for neogeo,cps1,cps2 were updated past 0.84.also games like vasra2,storm blade,raiden fighters2.......are from later versions.

yup! you can use mameox0.72 for the mk games with sound. Sorry in advance for the noob question... it is in theory possible to compile a version of Ignite with the faster MK drivers of 0.72 ? And... what about Turbo Outrun support ? regarding the midway drivers this has already been answered and i think bp is going to try and work on it but i dont know anymore than that. to get turbo outrun playable the fd encrytion need to be cracked as in the mame core needs to be updated past 0.84 to 0.88.anyway nes6502 is working on a port of fba which will have turbo outrun...most of the fd encrypted games playing and also galaxy force2,powerdrift,rail chase.......yahdedah. oh yeah check your pm.

best thing about this new version of coinops is screen rotation and the keys being rotated is the best thing thats happened on mame for xbox in a long time so thanks for that bp. worst thing ive found well............................im still looking.

if you want to emulate mk1 better then i recommend you use mamex-b6.put mk1,mk2 and narc into this emu as it emulates these games better.use mame0.72 for mk3 and ultimate mk3. once you have mamex-b6 in your xbox go into the unleashx file explorer and go to the default.xbe of mamex-b6 then bring up the options of file explorer and go to rename.xbe and you can rename it to mk1,mk2 or whatever and once you do this it will show up on your game selection screen as mk1 and mk2 or whatever.do the same with mame0.72,it just looks better. check your pm.

if you want to play crystal of kings then use bendermameox or mame128 as its run pretty well on either with sound on or off.

im geussing if your using mame0.72 that you want to try out the midway games with sound. anyway try going into your unleashx file explorer and go to your mameox folder.then find the default.xbe and hit the a button on your controller.see if that makes any difference.

well i dont know about the wii processer being faster but i suppose it always comes down to the skill of the programmer. do you have a wii yourself?have you tried mame on wii?

the only advantage of having the extra ram in mame128 is that it plays streetfighter1,was always to slow with 64mb(but is now fully playable on coinops and fbaxxpro thanks to iq132).the extra ram dosent make the slightest bit of difference to 3d games like tekken.when it comes to other emus then really its just surreall64 that benefits from the extra ram. as for a compatibility list there is one over at xbox scene for mame128 but take it at face value as some of the games that says dosent work well they do work.

the compatibility isnt great for a start,it wont load up cps2 roms,neogeo....and the load times can be very long....really there is no point in porting this to xbox as you have most of the games you could want. ps.and before anyone says what about tekken,ridge racer.......forget it as the xbox is slightly more powerful under the hood than the wii believe or not. pps. and also with later versions of mame you need a more powerful pc,as newer releases come out mamedev seem to think people have money growing out of their a$$eS to afford the upgrades they need. oh and another thing you should maybe change the title instead of mame0.843b you should either put mame128,coinops or bendermameox seeing as mame0.84 came out in 2004 and since then cps1,cps2,neogeo drivers were updated to later versions of mame and games like vasara2,raiden fighters2......have been added.

buggy boy requires way to much ram to emulate so dont get your hopes up.try playing the c64 version(definitive version people say)on vice64.

this release plays raiden fighters2(2000) it wont play raiden fighters jet which is the final release of the raiden fighters series.most people seem to think raiden fighters2 is the best game out of the trilogy.

aqua rush is based on system12 hardware(ps1 based)you arent going to get much luck in the speed department when it comes games based on this hardware on mame.

well i know this works for chipped xboxs but im not sure about softmodded xboxs. if you look at your c drive in file explorer you will see your main dash files and the default.xbe for that particular dash.it might be called evodash.xbe or xomething else but anyway its a case of deleting the files out of your c drive and copying the files of coinops into your c drive.then you have to rename the default.xbe of coinops to evodash.xbe or whatever it was called before. like i said i dont know if this works for softmodded xboxs but it works with my xecuter chipped xbox. you can either ftp coinops to your c dash or if you have a couple of dashboards like unleashx then move the files with that,dont use xbmc if that is your main dash you are using.

yes its spot on as the only shooteers that i could play like this was on fba,so yes its a very cool feature.
