the compatibility isnt great for a start,it wont load up cps2 roms,neogeo....and the load times can be very long....really there is no point in porting this to xbox as you have most of the games you could want. ps.and before anyone says what about tekken,ridge racer.......forget it as the xbox is slightly more powerful under the hood than the wii believe or not. pps. and also with later versions of mame you need a more powerful pc,as newer releases come out mamedev seem to think people have money growing out of their a$$eS to afford the upgrades they need. oh and another thing you should maybe change the title instead of mame0.843b you should either put mame128,coinops or bendermameox seeing as mame0.84 came out in 2004 and since then cps1,cps2,neogeo drivers were updated to later versions of mame and games like vasara2,raiden fighters2......have been added.

buggy boy requires way to much ram to emulate so dont get your hopes up.try playing the c64 version(definitive version people say)on vice64.

this release plays raiden fighters2(2000) it wont play raiden fighters jet which is the final release of the raiden fighters series.most people seem to think raiden fighters2 is the best game out of the trilogy.

aqua rush is based on system12 hardware(ps1 based)you arent going to get much luck in the speed department when it comes games based on this hardware on mame.

well i know this works for chipped xboxs but im not sure about softmodded xboxs. if you look at your c drive in file explorer you will see your main dash files and the default.xbe for that particular dash.it might be called evodash.xbe or xomething else but anyway its a case of deleting the files out of your c drive and copying the files of coinops into your c drive.then you have to rename the default.xbe of coinops to evodash.xbe or whatever it was called before. like i said i dont know if this works for softmodded xboxs but it works with my xecuter chipped xbox. you can either ftp coinops to your c dash or if you have a couple of dashboards like unleashx then move the files with that,dont use xbmc if that is your main dash you are using.

yes its spot on as the only shooteers that i could play like this was on fba,so yes its a very cool feature.

well ive neen trying out beta 3 and the new feature with the key rotation is great.finally i can play a shooter without having to turn my controller round 90degrees,good stuff.

im pretty sure i talked about it with him before but really it isnt any big deal all you have to do is turn off rotation.no problem there really.

my mistake,i thought it was set just to rotate vertical games.usually when i use the rotate option i just try it out on vertical shmups and then i just turn it off.i thought it had been set just to rotate the vertical games anyway.

it is important if you want to play shooters full screen which i have been wanting in coinops for a long time and with the added advantage of the keys being changed it is important.the only other emu that lets you do this is fba.

bp i grabbed the public beta is that the same beta as stf now has? just for clarification. concerning the cps2 code about hyper streetfighter i would rather have the cps2 games at full framerate like you get with your other biulds than be losing 5fps,hardly seems worth sacrificing the code over hyper sf2,especially seeing as superstreetfighter2x is in coinops and is essentialy the same game. the devs over at capcom used super streetfighter2x for their game hyper streetfighter2hd which was released not to long ago.

its good now that you have got a lot of the sets for neogeo fixed kenshiro samurai showdown5 special was always giving me problems but ive got it up and working now.

your best options just now are either using mameox0.72 for the midway games or look around the net for the mortal kombat download thats floating about.it has mortal kombat1,2 and3 ripped from the original midway arcade treasures and they are the actual arcade roms and plays flawlessly. neat ill give that a try thanks, my actual mortal kombat arcade board is missing a little speaker looking thing that hangs off it which is why it has no sound bp i have just started testing the beta and its fukin awsome.the autofire is a good idea with using the thumbsticks.been trying out a lot of vert shooters like esprade,raiden,dodonpachi.....and with the screen rotation ecerything looks sweet. im surprised that you thought primal rage always played slow in mamedox coz when you play it with the sound off it plays at full speed,it actually plays faster than mameox128 with the sound off.i fired up neogenesis and compared the speed with the 32x version and there isnt any difference in terms of speed that i could see. as for hyper streetfighter anniversary i know the driver isnt in but i wouldnt bother trying to get it in as the cps2 code seems to get a major kick up the ass when you are trying to update so i wouldnt be to concerned about it just now.

my resolution is to stop getting so much 360 games,ive got 70 discs and i can hardly get through them.

terra driver/souky on pcsxbox and then i fired up the saturn version,the psx version is good but compared to the saturn version it fails. also been playing fate/unlimited codes on the ps2 pretty good so far but not the kind of game im going to back to often.
