  1. Diablo II... $65... PS1... ?? Anyway I'm just waiting for Nintendo to stop selling the Wii and to come out and say 'haha the jokes on you millions of dancing, flailing, unco-ordinated morons- here's our real next gen console.' oh yes... do that and piss off everyone who got a Wii (which is a loooot of people). Also, why would they? The Wii is making bank right now. Finally, what's so bad about it? I mean it's a good system with an innovative controller. the awsome thing about it is that developers can make games that would be impossible to implement on the 3shitty or the PS3. What they are doing is genius, so there is no way that that would happen.
  2. it could be a couple of things. 1, you don't have a powerful enough PC and 2, there's an incompatibility issue with the emulator. for 1, we need to see some PC specs, for 2... be patient and hopefully it'll be fixed in a future release
  3. gee really? I honestly couldn't tell ;p
  4. ah so that's an emulator that completely emulates a television station... cool... so, has telletubby support been fixed yet? Not like I watch that show... really... just uuuh, curious >.>
  5. I would much rather want someone in the Castlevania series to be in there, like Alucard.... that would be badass
  6. Right, nothing more needs to be said. oh yes, while people go out and completely remake the NES while other people make uber carts that can hold a shitload of roms just because it's outdated doesn't mean it's automatically useless. Oh yeah and hello? PS3 software emulation now? There is absolutely NO REASON to get rid of the PS2 yet/
  7. uhm, don't you mean <= €40? I hope you don't program ;p
  8. whoa... epic loooking summons... fucking awesome dark theme tooo... niiiiiiiiiiiice
  9. I just don't even bother with it. If you're careful, you can stay clear from virii. If you do happen to get one, then they can for the most part, be easy to remove. all anti-virus programs do is waste valuable resources for gaming. fuck 'em.
  10. FASA had another game. I owned it. It was called battletech for the genesis. It was haaaard, but rather fun to play
  11. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past -- Dark World
  12. in about:config browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick make sure this is set to "true"
  13. but but but... I thought you loved me! :< Happy b-day to general plot anyways
  14. well, then perhaps you should have stated that in your original post. Sadly, I am not familiar with the Wifi Max USB that you are using. I would suggest getting a router that's compatible with your DS
  15. chances are, it's a bug in the emulator... try contacting one of the emu authors about the problem and maybe they'll be able to fix it.
  16. From the Nintendo Wi-Fi webiste: Our experience has shown that this error message is typically caused by a basic setting in your router, such as transmission rate. Please carefully read the instructions below: * Check Nintendo's router info for special notes, if available, for your router. 1. Click here to go to our Wireless Router Configuration page. 2. Use the drop-down box on the left to select, if available, your router manufacturer. 3. Click on your router's model number, if available. 4. Read any "special notes" at the top of the router's page. Many issues can be solved by changing such things as the Transmission Rate or switching your WEP to Shared. Follow the instructions and test the connection. * If the router is not listed on our pages, or has no suggested basic rate and transmission rate changes, log into the router, and check likely areas for the basic rate and transmission rate. (e.g., "Wireless Settings," "Advanced Wireless Settings," "Connection Rates" Change the basic rate to "1-2." Change the transmission rate to "2." (Make the change even if only one of those options is available). Test the connection. * Another device may be sharing the same I.P. address of the DS. Try manually assigning an IP address to your Nintendo DS. 1. The first thing you'll need to do is find out the range of IP addresses you should be using. To do this: 1. Click the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer. 2. Click "Run." 3. Type "cmd" into the box and press Enter. 4. Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press Enter. The IP address of the PC will be displayed. 5. The IP address you are going to assign to the Nintendo DS must be 10 digits higher than the PC's. (e.g., 192.168.1.100 becomes 192.168.1.110). 6. Enter in the exact same values for your Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS. 2. You will now need to manually assign this new IP address to your Nintendo DS. For step-by-step instructions on how to do this, please click here. * Ensure you have entered the correct DNS into the DS's manual settings. You can verify this by using the steps listed directly above (IPCONFIG/ALL). If you are still unable to connect, please call 1-800-255-3700 in the USA or Canada for more information. also, LERN 2 GOOGLE
  17. enh, don't be... Halo is a shitty series to begin with
  18. *yawn* I'm pretty sure that hackers have a work around for it. If I remember correctly, there's a hack around that makes it look genuine, so no big deal, and if so, that's why you have a live CD/XP install CD handy.
  19. is there a trailer that ISN'T on a site made of fail?
  20. holy crap! I remember my father's computer was an Acer with similar games! Hey, did your PC come with that Are You Afraid of the Dark adventure game? What about Tyrian? mmm, Tyrian... ohmygawd YES! How could I forget about Tyrian! And Are You Afraid of the Dark gave me nightmares! hahaha that's fucking awesome! Are You Afraid of the Dark.... yeah that game was some scary, creepy shit in it, but it was still a fun game none the less, and the game making your heart race to try an figure out how to kill the "bosses" was an absolute rush. and who can fucking forget tyrian!? It was by far, hands down one of the best PC sh'mups ever. Anyone who disagrees with me can die slowly in a fire I play coop mode Tyrian with my friends all the time. All those weapons and powerups... oh man... I need to play it right now... and I need to find a place to download Are You Afraid of the Dark: The Tale of Orpheo's Curse... I never tried coop mode to be honest... maybe I should sometime as for Are you Afraid of the Dark, I actually have the ISO, but I couldn't get it to run correctly in DOSBox for the life of me :<
  21. nono I meant getting the gameshark, a thimb drive (yeah I still need to get around to getting one of those) and whatever else I need to pull it off... I just don't want to deal with all the bullshit of running the exploit when I can have it all in one tight little package AND be able to homebrew with little to no trouble at all
  22. ok, but there are some people without those resources that just want a nice, clean, easy way of doing it, is that so wrong?
  23. Well yes so it would seem. But it appears to be a trade-off between disc swapping and having to patch each game to be compatible with Vast. If this patching of games is required then people will not only have to pay for Vast, but also invest a fair bit of money in blank DVDs, not to mention the time needed to patch/burn each game. In other words, it doesn't exactly seem worth the hassle if you already make use of the independence exploit. The money used would be much better spent on an external HDD to eliminate discs altogether ( yes i know HDLoader isn't 100% compatible ). Not to mention it's coming out way too late in the PS2s life cycle. well, even so, the whole memory card having a USB interface built in is reason enough I would get one. I mean trading saves and such == sexy
