umm you can't use live with the mod on or using tsop. if you do you'll get banned btw, you should use x2 bios its a lot better then m7

that doesn't make any sence that the mod is to cause the problem with reading media (if the mod isn't on right, it wouldn't boot up). i might suggest you try cleaning the lens on your dvd-rom and see if that improves. also be sure to get the latest versions of whatever app you use.

for kof2003 don't use the unibios as it will give you the gfx errors. as for kof2000 right now gh0st is trying to fix the nd set as it has gfx errors so if yu wanna play it perfect get the original rom which is kof2000.zip and shoud be 70-80mb or so

the sfex games weren't that bad except ex3 which killed the series. in ex3, when you try punch down in the air it will instead put you straight in front of your foe and do a straight punch. god knows how they f**ked that up cuz you can do it on ex1 & 2.

if i remember right this is the 3d kof game snk is working on for ps2 that suppose to come out in december (japan). just checked out gamespot and they also believe its the 3d kof game

doa is no where near the quality of vf or tekken games. i'll say doa2 was their best but still not good as the others and now team ninja just makes doa's just to show off the xbox's system and not have decent story or gameplay.

yeah i got it for winkawaks 1.48 dev its nothing more then a hack that jacks up the weapons and ammo 999. it also has an encrypted p rom(s) so it doesn't run on kawa-x or fbax. just note, fbaxgh0st had support it in the first version but newer versions it was removed since it doesn't work

the sequels sucked only the original was oscar worthy. i felt sorry for bill murray but if you think about it, him and sean penn are due for an oscar (watch sean in I Am Sam, that was some damn good acting). odd how a ghostbuster and spicoli actually became better actors hehe

fbax is supported by fba team (lantus doesn't just take stuff without asking, hell he even has b5 which it yet to be released) but they don't support the the compiled versions of fbax that allow banned/hacked roms. same goes for their pc emu. its all in the license info in fba and fbax.

no there were 2 sfex games both being plus alpha editions for ps1. i don't recall the arcades having the alpha versions or not. the alpha versions added more characters like in ex1 plus alpha they added sakura and dalsiim there was a third one but it sucked compared to ex2 and didn't improved when it was put on ps2. (you can't punch down in air, it will instead put you standing in front of the character you're fighting and do a straight punch; ex2 allowed you to punch down in the air and connect)

sony has started out with dial support but now games are going Broadband only due to speed and lag. TRUST ME, if you have played socom 1 and had ppl on dialup you'll see the lag and it annoys a lot of ppl. M$ was asking for Broadband when the system was being made so they *expected* ppl that wanted online use to get Broadband. i have both systems and only bought ps2 online since online use with it is free on all but online rpg's. for M$ live online you need to give up a credit card number in order to sign up and pay either a monthly or yearly fee which sucks to me.

also what bios are you running? i suggest you update to the latest (x2 4981) if your mod is flashable. also a minor prob for some ppl is with clock settings

ok thx for the fix iq_132 Weirdanzeige it is encryted cuz if i split the v roms i can get sound but i'm trying to keep the rom as is so i'll just wait for the proper driver for my encrypted rom and use the decrypted. Edit: i just tried what you said but i still get garbled gfx and the sound is there but static like. heres the driver i use:

go to irc and going a efnet server and type in /j xbins message the bot and you'll get info to their ftp and it should list as a game

well i got into compiling fba but i'm running into probs when making drivers for encrypted games rotd i got working but i get no sound and i'm not sure if its possible tho since i think you need to decrypt the v roms by cutting them mslug4 using the gfx key 31 that was given by neoencrypter gives me garbled gfx and again no sound.

the "kernel version" only works if he has the hash for the bios in evox's ini which a lot of ppl don't do. i suggest you flash it with 4981.06 (.67 if you got 250gb+) and make sure you bump the size to 512k using xbtool or use the dos command in the command window like so:

make sure you're using the nd sets for 99-02 and use romcenter to fill those in if you can get the nd sets alone. just a note if using kawa-hex that kof2k1nd set is to to called kof2k1n.zip and there is some renaming to be done for kof99nd.zip. kof98.zip works fine for me as is. i suggest you try to get another version from a different site (try emu-russia.net or retroroms.com)
