well, if you grabed the full version i put out in newsgroup, i added the driver info for the new roms in the new sets.txt which should make things easier for anyone wanting to make a dat. another thing i forgot to change was some roms in drivers are too big (mslug4 m1 being 128kb should be 64kb) so i might release a new version tomorrow doing some fixes.

theres also patches out for you to convert the mame/fba set to the pcb dump

x-cut works great for splitting roms and such. just to note, this game won't work on older kawaks so that includes kawa-x sorry to say

also note some pal games for ps2 have pal60hz mode which 100% works with ntsc since ntsc is 60hz (pal still has better pic tho) this how i'm enjoying the new transformers game

its not weird why it won't work, some ps2 drives are picky on media you use and you just learned which it doesn't like hehe at least you can use the rest on music and data i personaly use verbatim cdr's i get from sam's club (23 bucks ain't bad for 100pk). i also use verbatim dvd-r's but i perfer ritek dvd-rs more (cheaper )

i used to use norton untill i got a trojan that it couldn't find it even being fully updated so i installed mcafee and it found and deleted the trojan unlike norton and ever since i've been using it and its been great but one thing that does annoy me is when wanting to play a pinball table using pinmame+visual pinball, it will keep asking me if i want to allow the script to run for each table i wanna play btw, any info on this avg? a link to this if possible

i have a story that pissed me off: back when genesis was hot, i rented toejam and earl 2 and on the last day of the rental i was playing and i was on my way to get the final piece for the ship and all of the sudden a thunder storm cause our power to fade in and out thus causing the genesis to freeze another game that pissed me off before was marvel vs capcom. onslaught was a biatch at times

phillips can read some cdr's, its thomson that can't read cdr's a friend of mine that i did a TSOP flash for has a phillips and it played verbatim, tdk and some unknown 80min silver tops cdr's fine (tested them as vcd's using xbmc)

i would say nintendo since sega seems to toss more games there now but sega did work with m$ before with DC so i'm not sure

well it turns out theres a new dump of kof2003 and so far its working lovely in kawaks 1.48dev (matching the dat dead on unlike the hack done to make it work on dev) the 40.8MB zip is on newsgroup here's what is in the zip: good luck hexing this as i hope for those of you that still perfer kawa-x get it running. also anyone playing around with fba-x might wanna give this a shot

zip is 40.8MB and so far, its working lovely in kawaks 1.48dev since it matches the dat info perfectly now if someone could be kind enough to make a fba, nebula/kawaks dat i'll be glad to test it
