kawa-xxx i didn't like too much since some roms didn't act right as they do in kawa-hex (rotd is a big difference between the two) but as of right now, i ditched kawa-x for fbax since it has all games and all without taking out others (and the only one to play kof2003 untill mame gets vmm) kawa-hex page i made still works btw and the link is in the pinned topic

rasta: look at the pinned topic for the hacked version or do what i'm gonna say for shiba for the original shiba: get on irc (if you don't know what irc is go to www.irchelp.org) and join any efnet server. once you joined, type this in the status window: from there you'll join the chan and the next thing to do is to message the xbins bot to get ftp access to apps/emus/homebrew games/bios etc. type this in the channel's window: /msg xbins !list and from there you should get a pm with info on how to access the ftp site just to note, each time you message the bot counts as a one time visit so if you log off and wanna go back in, you must message the bot again

memory serves me right, capcom had planned a street fighter game for n64 but dumped it. i'm not sure if sf ex's would look good on there since using the carts it was a 50/50 thing (mk4 for example looked great but sound was here and there) plain and simple, capcom alone can't be at the mercy of nintendo for their dumb decision to stick with carts and it was damn near the end of n64 life they decided to release one best ports of re2 on n64 but still the point was most ppl already had the ps1 version which was also a bargin at $20 when n64's was $40+

hdd for ps2 is only 99 bucks cuz of ffxi but it should drop to 40-50 bucks in a few months (basically when more games find a decent use for the hdd). also just note that these items are optional as ps2 did damn well enough without a hdd. other thing to note: ps2 online is free except for online rpgs where xbox live you pay for the kit and whatever monthly/yearly price plan you choose and a cc is needed.

you don't need to mod for xbconnect since it works the same way with retail games. but if you wanna play with burnt games, you'll need to mod the xbox

brightsons is right about halo cuz i did play it fine when i tried it but when shiba and i wanted to play each other, it didn't work well at all even when i hosted the game (i got cable and he has dial-up). after that lil hell, we played unreal championship 2003 and it played well with me hosting it

fps is best on pc, if you meant console wise then definitely xbox i can't say gc for arcade style games but would say for "nintendo type" games fit it cuz thats what it has mostly.

well amd to me fell off since the days they owned p3's butt. p4 has been a cpu thats been getting better and better and memory serves me right p4 extreme 3.2 (aka xeon) beats the amd64 cpu in a few benchmarks and this is without overclocking (tomshardware.com and an article in pc magazine is where a seen the benchmarks) also there isn't much use for a 64 based cpu right now unless you wanna run a 64 version of xp pro. i would rather wait and see and stick to what you got now (which isn't bad i might say).

bah, i hate screeners with the b/w scenes and only 2.0 audio. i rather get the svcd after i see it at the theater and then wait for r1 retail dvdr also i'm thinking of getting the japan version of kill bill vol.1 dvd since it was the only region to show all the bloody scenes in color of the last battle.
