Xeon Posted June 23, 2004 Share Posted June 23, 2004 you dont need a Doom3 graphics card to play CS, whats wrong with you? even a Voodoo 2 can play older CSs fine in OpenGL. it depends on the version though, everything below CS:CZ can even be played on software mode. and being based on the Half-Life engine, i dont think a newer graphic card would drastically revamp the graphic content any (if any) better.
