New Fba-xxx With Source

well, if you grabed the full version i put out in newsgroup, i added the driver info for the new roms in the new sets.txt which should make things easier for anyone wanting to make a dat.

 

another thing i forgot to change was some roms in drivers are too big (mslug4 m1 being 128kb should be 64kb)

 

so i might release a new version tomorrow doing some fixes.

If someone could make a dat that would be sweet, save a lot of trouble uploading and downloading rebuitl sets all the time. If you need some help making the dat here is a great how to for clrmamepro

than youre lucky i tried to change my mslug roms so that they have the right named and sized roms in it, but they wont run.

ok, i'm posting a new version that is the same but the following m1 roms are changed in their driver:

 

mslug4 m1 is now 64kb

rotdn m1 is now 64kb

kof2k1nd m1 is now 128kb

 

i left mslug5nd the same since most ppl have the 128kb m1 (might change it later). also pim now uses a 64kb m1 but i left it as 128kb cuz the sound seems to breakup in fba-xxx with the 64kb m1

New FBAXXX May 10th released! Garoun.zip runs without any red bar problems, CPS1/2 now have cheat options! I can now play as Mecha-Gouki in Msh vs SF!!!

Although, I find that using the Moves feature for garoun.zip romset, crashes FBAXXX.

Lots of other new features, go get it peeps!

wow, hes done a lot with this update including no need for an s1 for decrypeted sets (gonna test this with kof2knd)

edit in=> could you post it with the banned roms in the zip? about half of mine don't work with fbaxxx and I haven't had any luck finding working ones. I'd really appreciate it!!

you can simply register at Gogo's forum, and reply to the right post and be able to get the FBAXXX and the Special FBAXXX. Or PM me and I'll send you the special FBAXXX default.xbe

hmm i see that link posted before is dead now hehe i'll make one of my special versions tonight and post it not sure about roms tho but you'll get the emu tonight at the most (noticed that he had only one rom changed in the source (pochi) so i can just add the older info in place of the new)

If you do a little snooping with the old link you can easily find the new default.xbe.

Go here:

 

You'll notice another FBAX zip file that's very small and when you unzip it there's only a default.xbe. Use that one with the new FBA-XXX and you'll have banned rom support.

ok, i'm currently posting the new version with the added drivers i put in from the last version so everything should be the same except the new added features gogo did

 

tomorrow i might do some minor driver fixes since now he cracked the s1 use from the c roms (kof2knd works lovely now) but this is what did for those of you that wanted a quick compile

 

again, for those of you that want it you can pm me your email and i'll send you the default.xbe rared (note that you'll need the rest of the new versions files since this version has a lot of changes)
