thanks to this new so called "Indecency bill" that our bible thumping president so strongly wants to sign, and who is against stem cell research abortion and other things.

it's finally taking it's effect beyond howard stern.

1.britney spears video on MTV, some part was edited because MTV felt that a certain part was "indecent"

[no one really cares about britney or MTV, but as we can see it's spreading]

2. some music video also was edited because some 10 year old girl in the beginning of the video said "WINE".... WINE? :-D:(

3. also, if a radio station plays a song by pink floyd,T.V.U., or any band that has the "S WORD" in it or any "indecent phrases or whatever, thanks to this bill not only will the RADIO STATION WILL be fined for indecenty but.. get this THE MUSICIAN will be fined as well...

 it's like, WTF

as a S.F. BAY AREA RESIDENT "fuc bush" come election time he will never get california or be reelected what a doushe. him and his retarded ass smirk that he does

Bush Jr. and his right wing buddies will hopefully get kicked out this November. I really hope he loses just because of what Pat Robertson said. He said something like "I've spoken to God and he said that Bush will win his reelection because God wants it." Now if Bush loses, Pat Robertson will be forced to eat his words and then crap it out. How's he going to explain himself?

Don't let the right wing control what is there for the future of this country. They want to control what you see, hear, and think. Things progress, a boob isn't a terrible thing but they're making it seem like its some HUGE sin and that God will shower us with comets if we don't censor ourselves.

Everyone, if you are the right age to vote, please do it. Remember, Bush won Florida by less than 900 votes. Every single vote counts and it makes a difference. Over 100 million registered voters did not vote 4 years ago, and look where we are. If not voting is your act of civil disobedience, then shame on you. It will only come back to hurt you, and then you have no right to biatch and complain when the government does something you don't like. This government was built by people, it can be torn down by us too. :(

And this is the same Dubya Bush, who thumps his chest proclaiming the "evils", "atrocities" and human right violations commited by Islamic extrememists but in the same breath, implement similar policies on his own people to curb their constitutional rights.

By most accounts, Bush stole the election. Doing a bit of research on all the disallowed votes/outright illegal acitivity in Florida will shock even the most staunch Bush supporter.

Well, maybe not--they simply wouldn't believe it.

Only 308 more days until he's gone for good!

And for reference, most Canadians don't like the guy either. Only Alberta (Canada's Texas--and my home!) was half and half on the guy.

If canada was part of the us(seeing that we could of been bought by them along time ago O_O), we wouldn't of voted for Bush. He's got no education, he has all the ties to the "big" companies, his dad got him out of army, and the whole deal with Iraq is just because he has an old score to settle. They need someone like Regan again :)

One word is necessary to describe that Son Of A Bush: DOUCHE.

This is one step closer to the imidiate death of the amendments worth dying for: Freedom of speech.

Even worse than Bush is his staff. Most of his cabinet have been high ranking officials in big business. Rumsfield (Dept. of Defense) was CEO of a pharmecutical company, Spencer Abraham (Dept. of Energy) worked for a lumber company. Cheney was CEO of Halliburton. John Ashcroft lost to dead man in Missouri for senator. Rod Paige (Dept. of Education) when he was head of the Texas education system allegedly looked the other way when his schools made dumb kids stay home so the state's test scores would be better.

Its funny how the same two people in charge of the War in Iraq were in charge of Desert Storm. Cheney was Secretary of Defense under Bush Sr. and Colin Powell was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Bush isn't the only problem, his entire administration has to go.

Paul O'Neill, the only not crooked guy was fired by the White House for not falling in line.

This is just a terrible administration that keeps a tight lid on everything that they do so no one knows how bad they are flocking up. Did you know that this Bush has had the least number of press conferences than any other president? His staff won't even return calls to journalists. They stonewall anyone that tries to figure out whats going on. And the White House's spokesman Scott McClenan just makes me want to punch him in the face. I hate the way that guy talks and always dances around the questions without answering any of them. flocking asshole.

It seems like everyone who posted on this topic agrees that Bush is a moron. I didn't imagine the limitations on freedom of expression went so far.

Remember, Bush won Florida by less than 900 votes. Every single vote counts and it makes a difference.

It depends on who's counting the votes :)

regardless of what Schwarzenneger says, I think pretty much of us Californians want a democrat now (well..not all, my history teacher is voting for Nader as a "protest" vote cause he hates Kerry and Bush)...still WE NEED A DEMOCRAT!!!..

too bad I'm too young to vote though :)

The big drive behind this is most likely "The Project for the New American Century"--a plan for US global domination. Scary stuff indeed.

As for Scott McClellan, he seems less agile than Ari Fleischer was. Ari rarely bothered to address an issue he didn't like (read: anything critical of the administration). Scott stumbles and hums and haws. At least when he lies he's not convincing.

A nice site that tracks one reporter's attempts to get Scott (and previously Ari) to answer questions is:
