James Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 (edited) James...Thanks but the fact is I already read your one too....The p1.rom files you guys posted cannot be extracted.... so I just changed the name into ssv_p1.rom without extracting it. There was nothing to extract.. So when I replaced it with my older p1.rom file it didn't work and went into some crazy screen full of blue and white squares.... It also flocked up my KOF2001....@#%!#^%... that guy from page39 said to extract his p1.rom file but really, it could not be extracted....( i used winrar...) yah...that is all for now, I am so goddamm frustrated... thanks for tryin' to helpi had no problem with the file and works fine in neorageX either the link was down or the file you got was not complete Edited January 5, 2004 by james

stealthcat Posted January 5, 2004 Posted January 5, 2004 (edited) my samsho5.zip has been working fine in nebula, mame, and kawaks (w/loader). does anyone have a p1 that unlocks the boss and poppy? i want to use the dog, but the dat files that i have been creating haven't been working. thanks. So, anyone mind PMing what, exactly, has gone down, thatprecipitated these changes?your rom sets have the wrong roms thats for sure you are also missing a file from the neogeo.zip (bios) samsho5.zip270-p1.bin", CRC(611a6687) is needed 270-c2.bin", CRC(7b444985) is needed and theres no point updating roms in mame unless you know for sure the emulator needs them.... changing the roms will mess it up . in any case you should allways keep a back up .mame roms are in bin format and use numbers instead of letters. when did you download mame32 78.1b ?as it was updated yesterday. http://members.westnet.com.au/the%2Dkula/mame.html mame32 78.1b is my compile if you have AIM please contact me my screen name is jlaing14 ...... Somehow, when I was zipping up the zip in smaller zips, so I could send them to my other comp at my Dad's house, I messed something up, and now I can't play? So, any idea what I messed up here? I'm sure its probably common knowledge, I just don't know much about this, I'm learnin though
