Devia Eleven Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I'm a dedicated member to about five different forums. I've noticed that over the years/months, activity has been declining slowly in all of them. Do you think that forums Internet-Wide are losing activity?

Isn't that something from the 20th century? Face it, emulator developers are a dying breed, as are users who even have interest or comprehension skills to use one. All we have now, are dumb kids (Seems to be defacto standard these days, no offense current kiddies) who can barely muster the brain cells to put a disc in a console properly.

echoman Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Emulation sites have definetely been slowing down in the pass couple years. Nothing new is being emulated so the interest just really isnt there. A couple other sites I go to are still the same

L.S.D Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Weirdy says it all. 1emu still have emphasis on emulation most of the times with news dedicated to it. But of cos, as I mention, it is hard to be a community site as:1. the poeple didn't meet up in real life2. we do not know each other that much. In another site where I am a moderator, we used to be a sex forum where we arrange sex activities, sex videos and pictures, basically a porno site. Then, we decided to change to a community site with broader range of interests. now we have people who specialize in cars, games, sports, health all converged in the forum. basically, a convergence of people with similiar interests in various subjects, which of course include the primary interest in sex. And we always meet up to have supper together, for chit-chat etc etc. THe key thing is the forumers need to meet up, need to make friends and need to have an open mind.
