its not closed IQ has it ... its on ftp etc

 

also my version of mame isnt the true open source one

you can continue on 3 or more versions no worries and up untill the last few weeks the drivers where the same as mamedox 1.1 and source is avail for that

 

at present if I fix my side IQ said he may be able to fix crystal drivers for alot faster full frame rate cross fingers :thumbsup1:

All the games were tested with preIgnite and ran right. For the "no good dump known" games (64street, stratof, bball, arkanoid2, madgear, cookbib2...), I just created a dummy file with the right name & hexadecimal size, and placed it into the zip.

also if I rotate the screen 90 my build the vert games rotate 90 and the horizontal games rotate 270 is that the same for you fum if so ill fix it

well i havent got the biuld to try but i tried it on mameox128 and it is exactly the same with the hori games,tried darius2 and like you said it displayed at 270 when you put it in 90 on screen rotation.

OK I have to fix that as I now have a function called rotate vertical games (90deg) ... cant believe people say they want this feature when it doesnt even work for people that put there monitor on it side ive found so many bugs. But ill get it going so it turns vertical games if on and the keys will also operate left=left right=right etc (for that I will have to rotate them) this way it will play on a normal TV properly

 

Im normally on about 4pm New Zealand time.... no known dump issues arnt in ignite :thumbsup1: there are multiple issues with the games you sent like bangbeard locks up after first level etc but we need to talk via MSN as this stuff gets confusing

Added a way more intuative AUTOFIRE :naughty:

 

at present Right thumbstick enables autofire for everyone

Left thumbs disable autofire for everyone (keys up for discussion)

 

it will fire very fast for all players if you hold A it will charge weapons as if A is held.

 

(I can change this very easy to A autofires and nothing when A isnt pressed.... this works well like HKs but it doesnt allow you to charge your weapons this is up for discussion)

 

FPS enabling also shows Megs Free as well now for dev and also optimisers of games

 

 

 

Added a way more intuative VERTICAL GAMES ROTATE TO FILL THE SCREEN option this also rotates the keys so you can play them as if they where designed to play left to right not up to down

disabled key rotation on rotated games for now as it has bugs (eg if you remap your keys while rotated it rembers the rotation on save even after its turned off plus other issues due to user being aloud to save controls and also interface being alowd to alter them so they can lose sysnc)

 

The Beta is ready now for Funm and a few others please msn me ill get it to you

sounds great bp, i might be contacting you here shortly if you don't mind, id love to give it a try and see how things are coming along, though i'm sure that it is gonna be good. You've made alot of progress and headway. :D

Added in rotation of keys and thumbs when screen is autoroated for vertical games so it plays correct now :D great success works for all key configs and also works for key configing and key saving I nutted it out finally

Autofire has changed now

 

click in LEFT Thumb for Semi-Automatic Fire - it only autofires if you hold down fire

 

click in RIGHT Thumb for Full Automatic Fire - it allways autofires if you hold down fire it will charge your weapons

 

Anytime you press back it will disable autofires this makes this very easy to enable and disable the fires

Is it likely the midway games will have working sound, I do like playing MK and own the original board/cabinet to the game but my board has a fault with no sound also, drives me insane!

your best options just now are either using mameox0.72 for the midway games or look around the net for the mortal kombat download thats floating about.it has mortal kombat1,2 and3 ripped from the original midway arcade treasures and they are the actual arcade roms and plays flawlessly.
