Ill PM you some stuff Also some good / Bad news the demand for it seems higher than I thought... So because its ready bar a few hours work ill put a stake in the sand... only allow a couple of tester to help me with screenshots and testing this week then make it live in the weekend.... Then ill start a thread to improve / patch in stuff for people. I have to put a stake in the ground or else it could go on for quite a while. So the new threads can start after release Fam you can if you want monitor it and ill pop in and release a patch from now and then...now that the base will be setup for it.ok thats no problem bs,ill wait till coinops has been released and ill start the new threads.im gonna be looking at some roms later on today anyway.

oldskool Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 for filters,i use anstropic on my lcd,basically the default settings.i always find that some of the larger roms seem to slowdown or become a little jumpy gameplay wise.when you start messing about with all the different filters and scalers. BP, out of "Anisotropic" and "Linear" filtering, which gives better performance? My guess is that "Linear" filtering with a flicker filter set to "0" would (less computationaly expensive), is that correct? Also, do the metal slug games have a touch of slowdown? or is that the way they are meant to be.

Hopefully the person testing who can name himself, I wont, will finishing testing each game in a day or 2 and hand it over. Might as well get it out so sorry all but feel free to offer support or stuff and hopefully can patch it to be even better although its def better than arcades now

hellsfury Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Ok guys, all the testing is done, all 1,061 games verified working all thats needed now is for BP to finalize the build and then it will be packaged up and shipped out! ok for now you guys can pm me with some places you would like to see it uploaded too, as there will be no links posted on this site! I will post again when releasing has started at that time you can pm me for details on where you can get a copy from! Before anyone even asks releasing will start some time tomorrow
gavin19 Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 I'm assuming you mean Rapidshare, Megaupload etc? It depends on the file size too. If it is DVD5 in size then it would be best distributed over bittorrent.
