Oh well just move on to the next one eventually you will find ones that have your same interests. BTW I have no friends cause I killed them all in Satanic Rituals.

I know pretty much how you feel ryuken. Unfortunately I have no good advice to give since I'm trying to figure it out myself. I don't really have any close friends right now, just the ones I see in school. And one of them has been my childhood friend since elementary school but we still have a fairly superficial relationship and we rarely do anything. I have a very superficial relationship with everyone in my class. The extent of our conversations are basically "Hey, how's it going? I've got a lot to study. I hate studying. I'm so behind. I don't want to go class. flock this." It's just so menial and trivial. I don't really know, I've pretty much stopped caring. I'm too busy trying to study (not actually studying, just trying to motivate myself to do it). Just don't think the way you are is wrong or abnormal. It's different but not wrong. You'll eventually find a niche. Keep your head up, keep trying, but don't be fake. And to answer your question about whether friends are important. Yes they are. Very important which is why my life feels so flocking empty right now

Kenshinsama Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 well man its hard because you are starting to get set in your ways ya know? in high school i was a square for the longest time. at least to myself. because I thought since I didnt do anything that I was missing out. and while that is sometimes the case I also learned that I had a thing for my own solitude. some people like being alone to think things out or do other activites. your solitude is your you time and you should always remember that. as for trying to become more social. well stick to what you know. what interest do you have? ib school you have friends who you joke with and hang out with I am sure. start asking if they want to start gaming together or even goto some of your local arcades or something(wow all my ideas involve games lol) the one thing in high school I kept telling myself was"I refuse to be like every other tool" there are no rules to HS man! none! so you can try to fit in or inovate your own style. I did option number 2 lol. I am 25...ENJOY YOURSELF NOW MAN!. right now...is your time.
