What made you stay in 1emu?

After I got SvC I didn't really think I'd stay, hence the 6 month break, but it became habit to check the boards every now and then.

 

We need Random_Guy, Violence and Dreamcastlover back damn it...

 

And Gamecop, I've only two complaints about 1emu and when they'll be resolved, I'll consider the site to be back in the "golden age" era. These are the incessant censorship and banning the linking to ROMs. Until then, the site is still in it's bad moment for me.

I stayed cuz I became ensnared in 1emuadventure.

I constantly try to figure out new ways to plz da readers.

I love reading the chapter where GC faced off against Diso and the other two.

It seems that in my first search for mugen info a long ways back, to an huge argument that sparked from some sf thread, all the way to me writing volumes on the people who i talk with on here.

Elazul was my first supporter...

Btu 1emuadventure or not, I've become attached to dis bloody forum!

i stayed coz of the xbox forum and the fact that the lounge is always a lively place.

Plus, because I was promoted to staff.

Without that, I probably wouldn't even have made 500 posts by now.

 

I still carry the pain of not being promoted, hence the low post count

 

Seriously though, I can't put my finger on it. This is the only forum that I have stuck with for this length of time. Maybe it's to due to the lack of d**kheads posting, or the broad range of gaming topics being discussed.

 

Also I think that I thought I could always contribute here in some small way, having owned and 'cracked' so many consoles down the years and wasted so many years gaming and emulating. Even though my passion for gaming has waned these past few years I still have a thing for emulation ( thanks almost entirely to my soft-modded Xbox ).

 

I think I'll hang around for another 4 years or so

I don't think we've ever had any bad moments on 1Emulation. Sure, we've had to deal with a lot of crap members, spamming, server problems, hackings, but we never had bad times in my book.
