What that story doesn't tell you, is that the 800MB is Pagefile use ONLY! Anyone with some brains can see that it's also eating roughly 400MB of physical RAM!

Added note, it also requires roughly 7GB of hard drive space!?!? Uber ultimate bloatware supreme!

I'm sticking to my guns, no more Windows for me........ever. Linux HO!!!

My XP installation is only 1.3GB, I don't know how you could possibly have one over 3GB. Mine is including probably a couple hundred MB of stuff in system folders thats been added by aftermarket software and such.

Speaking of xp, I wish I had an installation disk. That way I would be able to rip it onto an image, and then run that one patch which allows you to remove certain things (including Alexa keys!) then install.

WOW no wonder it was running so slow on my PC

It was taking a long time just to flip through windows and stuff, they are REALLY going to have to tone that down because, if i where to make an OS, i would at least want it to be able to run on those "starter PCs" That they sell, and those usually feature between 256-512MB of RAM, and thats what most people buy because its affordable.
