supa_al Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Resident Evil 4 releases this Tuesday....excellent I have pre-ordered from Gamestop, special collectors edition..so bad ass. Anybody going to get it? Even though it is not exclusive to Gamecube anymore, who cares?

If Gamestop didnt do the whole collection thing, i would have gone with EB I wanted to get something from them as well, a gameboy game from Capcom, but i had a problem as well.......BOOOOO. Oh dude, solidius23, you should just get a used Cube for like 60 bucks and get RE4, dont wait for the ps 2 version...that one will suck.

The Gamestop site doesn't say you get the DVD. Plus they've updated (By updated I mean added.) more than what they were offering the last time I checked them. Edited January 10, 2005 by Skythe

KyokugenKiss Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 I think i might buy it when it comes out for the PS2, but the game currently doesnt turn me on, the engine looks more action packed than survival horror and zombies with chainsaws and axes dont turn me on, this is supposed to be RE, not house of the dead Actually i cant wait to finally play the RE remake and RE0 when they finally get ported to ps2

I guess I just can't recapture that magic of staying up all night with RE1 nearly crapping my pants everytime something jumped out. the closest I've gotten to that feeling again was fatal frame.FF actually scared me unlike RE and silent hill which just jolted me

Zero may not be as scary, but looks much prettier(VERY). Some have been skeptical about getting a cube, but it really is very cheap. I have been skeptical bout a PS2 but i may get one, the slim one as God of War and Devil May Cry 3 are coming out. Honestly, the first remake will make you crap in your pants. The PS 2 version may not look as pretty, but no doubt will contain more content n such. As towards wether or not Zero and the remake come out, i doubt it, but nowadays anything can happen.
