VT-Vincent Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 I finally finished Skies of Arcadia Legends... fantastic game, at least a 9 out of 10. The best part about it is that I actually didn't remember the ending from the first time I played it so it was like reliving it for the first time all over again. It really is a shame that Overworks never made a sequel to this game.
Skythe Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Don't bother unless your T.V has a kick ass resolution. The fonts are designed for HD's. On a side note, I remember playing on my 360 2 years ago. The thing made its fan sound louder than a jet engine. You still need a keyboard to boot, so it's the same thing, on a 360 :/. I played it once on my 360 but didn't have the time nor money at the moment to continue on. I didn't have too much of a problem playing the game on a non HDTV. I've heard the game has changed greatly from when I last played it.

I've heard the game has changed greatly from when I last played it. XP has increase world-wide by a short %. XP chaining is now from VT's-IT's /rinse repeat. There are books ouside of each outpost/town with XP quests (kill 5 bee's, get 300 XP). You can solo the majority of the grind now to, my mnk is lvl 20 by itself, I haven't even touched dunes. Those are minor changes, there are a ton more but I'm sure they're end-game.
emsley Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 None of you play sins of a solar empire? i started up a game but my capital ship wasnt there do i have to earn it or something?
Krosigrim Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Im still playing super metroid.Have you played Super Metroid Redesign??? If not you gotta try it out. It's like playing it for the first time... as EVERYTHING is redesigned. Map, so obviousally item placement, jump physics have changed, and the game is actually challenging now. Certain weapons do better damage to certain enemies, so getting the plasma beam isnt the ownage you remember. Sometimes bombs are better, sometimes missiles.
Inky Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Brutal Legend. this one actually surprised me. it's pretty fun. Saw. It's exactly how you expect a movie game to be. suck and fail.
Devia Eleven Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 MadWorld, the game seems mediocre within the first 30 minutes and becomes slightly good once you get the controls down, a bit repetitive, however.

My thoughts exactly, the only thing that's dynamic are the weapons provided within each level, because of the blood splatter attacks tend to get less repetitive over time, I can tolerate it until I finish the game.
Inky Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 well Brutal Legend turned in to a big pile of poo.turns out all the major battles are this crappy half assed RTS. the multiplayer is the same crap RTS. if it was just straight sandbox hack and slash with the decent humor I'd have raved about this one. Forza 3 is incoming. I'm not huge into sim racers, but I'm sick and bored as hell
Weirdy Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 beat Tomb Raider Anniversary yesterday replaying through TRII, then TRIII. PC version (no, no nude raider)
Skythe Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Lucidity is hard, annoying and sucks. The game would be far better if you could actually control the character and not have to place random magic items to protect/traverse the automated walking character through the game. The best way to accurately explain the gameplay is like playing a side scrolling Tetris while sucking on ass.
veristic Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Ding! I just hit 80 last night in WoW. Took... three weeks? From 44-80 (I stopped playing my Druid at 44 over a year ago). Considering I work 9:30-6:30 i'd say thats not bad.
Lucandrake Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 GZ ! My 80 druid in WoW just got banned for suspicion of account selling. In reality I just lost my password lol. Anyways in FFXI I have my MNK @ 21. WHM @ 18. BLM @ 18. Now to hit 36 with my WHM so I can start leveling my DRG .
