Lucandrake
Hey everybody, we all know SVC is the SNK version of Capcom vs. SNK, well, do you think SNK killed the vs. series or made it better?
Gryph
It certainly didn't kill Capcom and I don't think it made VS. series any better.
Wizard
Capcom vs SNK Pro > SVCC < CVS2 IMHO. SNK characters were butchered in 2Capcom characters were butchered in SVCC. CVS Pro and the card clashing games > those games.
Agozer
Capcom Vs. SNK 2 is still better. And yeah, Card Fighter's Clash rules on the NGP.

GobopopRevisited
Are we forgetting MOTM was the first SNK and Capcom Crossover. Capcom Vs. SNK killed that... MOTM > SVC Chaos > CFC > CVS 2 / EO > CVS > and Pro was just a waste.
Daeval
What was MOTM on? I thought that was CvS1? Anyway, I think it may have made an impact in terms of how much extraneous effort you should put into a Vs. game. It had some really nice and brand spankin' new graphics. As for gameplay.. eh.. It didn't kill anything, but it didn't make it any better, that's for sure. Unless maybe you count Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 as a Vs. game, in which case SVC improved the average gameplay of the series by leaps and bounds. Of the crossover titles, I've only ever played CvS on PS1, CvS2 on PS2, and SvC in the arcades and on XBox.
BoomBa_GoosE
What was MOTM on? I thought that was CvS1? MOTM was a neogeo pockett color game, which was the first to crossover. i think it was the best one bc of the infividual soundtracks and it was tag-team. somethin the other vs series never had. i loved it, it was tag-team goodness without the marvel vs capcom madness.... Ghosty
Better, The Capcom Version Was IMO Worster Than The Original SF Games.
L.S.D
MOTM>CVS2>SVCC>CVSPro>CVS MOTM is great becos of the gameplay (and the minigames) CVS2 is great becos of the choice of fighting mode. SVCC is great becos of the characters (Demitri/Zero/SeriousMr. Karate) Card Clash is not a fighting game so I won't put it in.But it is a great crossover too Until I have play Yugioh
Wizard
Doesn't matter if their fighting games. THEY FRIKING RULED. Anyone knows how this whole "vs" thing started off? It's a rather amusing story on how Capcom and SNK talked about making a Vs series.
