  1. Zelda has zero RPG elements. Not one. It's action adventure. The game focuses on puzzle solving and killing things in generic action game style. I'm interested in hearing where in this game there is anything similar to an RPG.
  2. I use emulators quite often. My most used emulators are PCSX2, Visual Boy Advance, and ZSNES.
  3. I still don't understand why the Japanese language is SO awesome that people have a desire to untranslate things. A lot of the stuff I watch is in Japanese with subtitles just because it's all that's available, and I'm okay with that, there's nothing wrong with some subtitles, but why do you hate English so much that you have to remove translations? Most recent game was Wario Land 4. It was good, but a bit on the short side. Other games include Shining Soul 2, which was hard, and Sins of a Solar Empire, which is pretty good, but I haven't played it enough to give it a solid opinion yet.
  4. Rowling likes the site because it has all the information the book would have and then some without anyone paying a dime. She's suing not because she's going to lose money from the creation of the book, but because she feels her fans would be getting knifed in the gut paying for something like that.
  5. They are given a choice. They can't get married if they go into prostitution, which implies that they don't have to go into prostitution and could get married otherwise. It's common for them to follow this path, but not forced, if they really didn't want to, they don't have to, but the majority want to. It's not about culture, it is well know what sort of troubles this causes to a child. Yes she's 13, and she's a child. She couldn't know what her decisions will do. Her remark about not having to housework reveals her "grand" decision capacity. I think I'm out of the loop again, this tends to happen pretty often. What problems does this cause in a child?

  7. You shouldn't just appreciate what you have, you should strive to improve it.
  8. Doesn't seem all that horrible to me. It's just a different culture over there, that's how they do things. It might look bad to some people, but that's just because they're looking through some sort of culture filter where good and bad have different definitions.
  9. Make sure you get all of them, though. We still have a few stragglers here and there, they like to demand money and biatch at people.
  10. I'm actually going to answer yes and void the rest of your post. Edit: I did type that before actually reading your post, and have to admit that it doesn't void your entire post. A fair portion though. The government doesn't own people, the people own the government, the people also own their land. At least that's how it's supposed to work in America, though arguments could be made otherwise, and that isn't necessarily how things are viewed in China. We just think it should be that way. you do know that the civil war was started over southern states wanting independence right? Washington would never allow a state to succeed. hell we won't even allow Puerta Rico to be it's own country. The civil war was ages ago, and Puerto Rico...uh...flock. Guess I lost that one.
  11. I didn't say it was different and I didn't say that what America's doing is right.
  12. Record companies just aren't required anymore. Bands can get their music out online, and advertise through word of mouth. This is the sort of thing that comes with the information age. Artists might make less than they used to as a result of this, but then, thinking about the plateaus they've been resting on for the past few decades, less isn't really a small amount.

  14. I hated Puzzle Quest. Too often I would lose when the computer would make a match, and then complete matches kept falling into place. Not even something that either of us could change, just three things all falling from the top multiple times and clearing themselves.
  15. The controllers I use most often are PC controllers that mimic PS/SNES controllers. So problems with flimsiness or rough buttons or some such vary.
  16. I consider the PS controllers the next step after the SNES controllers, which they basically were, and consider them the best out there. I haven't had any problems with the Gamecube controller or the Wiimote held on its side. XBox controllers have felt weird to me. Dreamcast controllers fit my hand really well, so I like those. And for the record, the DSLite is too small, though it isn't really a controller. It always hurt my hand trying to use one.
  17. Yeah, I can't say this is any sort of huge surprise. It's still awesome, I'm sure it'll be a great game, the concept just isn't especially surprising.
  18. Hmm. I should probably write my friend code down, too.
  19. I use a GMail account, and another account that seems to be GMail, but with a custom address. I don't really use it for anything aside from newsletters or something, though. I trust that Google won't try to steal my WoW account password or something.
  20. Amen to that. That game was king. I'm finding Apollo Justice harder to get through... Oh and you know that whole Bridge to the Turnabout thing... I did that in real life. It was a bigger thrill than bungee jumping. That's impressive, I must say.
  21. Just finished Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, and it was amazing, again. I especially liked all the pop culture references. Shows the translators knew what they were doing.
