  1. Using the 2.80 Kernel mode exploit found by Team C+D, 0okm has created a downgrader for firmware 2.80. This app will ONLY work with TA-079~081 motherboards. This process is quite tricky, so make sure you understand what you're doing BEFORE you try downgrading. Here are 0okm's instructions: NOTE: 0okm is not responsible for any effects this app may have on your PSP. As with all downgraders, there is a risk it will brick your PSP. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Source / Download Downgrader v0.01 / Download Easy Installer
  2. Just burn the video files to a DVD like you would for any other DVD player. All the videos I've burned have worked on my PS2 as well as my DVD player.
  3. If you want to play a console on your PC monitor, I'm pretty sure you just plug it in to the monitor, not the graphics card or the mobo.

  7. Chaos Zero has created automatic installers for Dark_AleX's 3.02 OE-A as well as DevHook v0.51.0100. These installers are very user friendly, and are highly recommended for noobs. The 3.02 OE installer comes in two packages: One for 1.50 users and one for 2.71 SE users. Make sure you download the correct one for your firmware. Download 1.50 Installer / Download 2.71 SE Installer / Download DevHook Installer Additional support can be found HERE.
  8. Sweet! Released! I guess if it was made by DAX, and DragonKeeper approves, I should get it! EDIT: I upgraded, and it was definitely worth it! HIGHLY recommended!
  9. Nothing but rain and warm weather in the Midwest. Pah. I was hoping for a white Christmas, not a wet one.
  10. Wow... never did Transformers look so... evil.

  14. Please, look into these things before passing on your knowledge to noobs. There is in fact homebrew for 2.80, even an eLoader. Also, I'm just assuming, but you must have heard of the libTIFF exploit, which is alive and well on 2.80. Above 2.80, though, you are correct, there is nothing. Get games, eLoader, and TIFF things for 2.80 from here:http://forums.qj.net/f-eloader-and-201-hom...ames-70890.html
  15. I have no idea what kind of DVD burner you're talking about, but here's an *old* tutorial on how to run GCN backups without a mod chip: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/1/292668
  16. Sony released their latest firmware for the PSP today. Here's what's new: REMEMBER: DO NOT update if you would like to keep using homebrew! Download (Or just use Network Update) Note: DevHook currently does not support this firmware, so we will just have to wait for an update.
  17. No, here's what it looks like, where the user name is "admin" and the new password will be "h4x0rd": net user admin h4x0rd
  18. Happy B-Day, dude! Are you getting your driver's license soon?
  19. I'm supposed to be getting a new phone soon... camera, internets, the works. Unfotunately, the peoples who are supposedly getting us a good deal keep running in to "complications." Phooey.
  20. This past Sunday I attempted snowboarding for the first time in my life. Suffice to say I no longer have knees. Well, they are in bad shape. My left knee is completely covered in multi-colored bruises, and my right knee is swelling up to the size of a ping pong ball. I blame the snow at the resort for this. There was no real snow AT ALL. Only mad made snow, which was really just small chunks of ice. Every time I fell, I either hit solid ice or deep, wet ice. And, since this was my first day snowboarding EVER, I fell one hell of a lot. I didn't really accomplish anything, either. I cannot toe-side or heel-side turn, and I cannot stop (without falling ). I'm supposed to go to a ski hill with my friends after Christmas, so we'll see how that shapes up. SPEAKING OF CHRISTMAS... 21. Not sure if this is the right thing, but if you want to change the password of an account on your PC, and your account is not totally restricted (Like on school comps where you can't edit any files that aren't in My Documents ) you just type this into cmd (Start > Run> cmd): net user <ACCOUNT NAME> <PASSWORD> <ACCOUNT NAME> = The name of the account (If you don't know it, just type "net user" and a list will come up) <PASSWORD> = Any password at all. This is what the password will be set to, even if you don't know the current password. Ooops too late. But hey, this method works anyway.
  22. And that's what Christmas is all abo... er... and that's why the TA-082 mobo sucks.
  23. Why would you get an Intel mobo if you hate Intel chips? Do you already have a good Intel cpu? Even if you do, I'd say it'd be worth it to go AMD. As for the RAM, it appears it will NOT work with the first mobo you stated, because of this: While your RAM has 4-3-3-8.
