  9. I dn't think there's anything to automatically make a giant asr.dat, but you might like to read these (if you haven't done so already). http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4912 http://www.1emulation.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=16164
  10. I had to remove the link to that chinese board, because it has a rom request area (against our rules), and the whole thread was in Chinese and therefore could not be understood. Thanks for the other link though, much appreciated!

  19. Well it works on Kawaks and Mame, it may well on Nebula but I've never tried making a dat for it.
  20. MGD sets are different and no amount of romcenter work will fix them. The real NRX (last version 0.6c) supports this format, but the hacks do not. The really bad thing about MGD's are that quite a few are bad dumps! You would be better off playing those early neogeo games on kawaks, mame, or nebula (and using mame romsets). For those used to reading MAME code, here is the weird code needed to get an MGD set working: As you can see, bytes need swapping about, and entire blocks are in the wrong places.

  24. http://www.wdc.com/en/library/eide/2579-001037.pdf explains the jumpers on a sata. From what I just found in google, there is no such thing as master and slave with sata, all are considered as a master. On the mobo there will be a master socket and a slave socket (or primary and secondary). In the bios you can choose which one to boot from. You don't have two drives on one cable, like with IDE/PATA drives. If you are wanting to have a sata boot disk, and a secondary IDE disk, you can do that, but make sure in the bios to select scsi ahead of hdd-0 or it might try booting off the IDE disk.
  25. Yeah i saw Agozer's post and i thought "wtf's he been smokin"
