Well... I never heard of such a thing. So I googled. An Enginerering Sample is exactly that: a beta chip, not officially released. It can have various defects, such as being unable to change the multiplier, instability, errors, overheating.. who knows what yours might do. It also seems that some Engineering Samples were unlocked chips, and thus could be overclocked till they blew. Since it's not an official release, the chips were probably stolen from the factory and sold on ebay.

I'd agree with what Diso said. These staff changes were completely out of the blue, whatever the reasons were is a mystery. Wait till you've calmed down and have another think about it. Just leaving like this makes it look like a dummy spit. Besides, what else are you gonna do? Just relax, have a think about it. OK?

CDROM drives are easy, just plug one into your computer and it will identify it for you, in the device manager. As for those PCI cards, there will be some chips on the board, just look at the largest ones, and read off the part numbers, and use google to identify the product and to get a driver.
