I haven't even started the main quest yet, and I'm already more than half-way through the Dark Brotherhood's quests.

I hardly play any of my PS2 games anymore. It's all old emulators now-a-days (Though soon I'll be playing a ton of Oblivion and Suikoden V)

If it was ready, I'm sure they'd have released it by now.

My friend got it on Monday. I watched him play it today. It is beautiful. I need it. Muchly. I have a DVD-ROM laying around that i need to connect to my computer to find out if it works. I'll be burning my friend's copy of Oblivion (And getting his CD Key, hehe) reguardless, but I'll be soooo happy if I get it to work.

I'm confused about the official site for iDeaS. When I download the latest version of iDeaS (1.0.0. off that site, the program itself says it's version 1.0.0.7. Is this the same for anyone else?

After FF7, all Final Fantasies have sucked. I really doubt this'll be a whole lot different, especially since basically every Square-Enix game has sucked.

I had two problems with my PS2, both being that the DVD drive version was outdated. Sony fixed them free of charge. I never had any of the problems that most people seem to have. As for the PS3, might as well just upgrade your computer.
