Interesting thing mentioned in the EGM rumor section this issue: They say that the Revolution will sport graphics not that much more advanced then the Gamecube's. Not that that's a bad thing, but I wonder if there's any truth to that rumor.

Hm, cool. Ryuken's actually got a point. Maybe games back then weren't better? Perhaps the only reason we think that games aren't so hot anymore is because we've gotten bored of that certain type of game (And I say we, because I've been saying the same thing for years). The gamers of today, though, have yet to be exposed to that kind of game, so naturally they'll like it more then we do. Good job, Ryuken, you get two chocolate chip cookies! Edit: Jesus. God damn, stupid fanboy. Have you even played the X-Box 360? And even if you have played one or two games on it, the console was just released. Of course it won't have a unique and diverse selection of games for it at the moment. IT WAS JUST RELEASED. And as for playing the 360 on non-HD TV's, it looks just fine. So stop complaining about crap that doesn't even matter and stop being so biased.

I used to think there'd be a videogame crash in the future, but not anymore. Video gaming is more popular then ever before. The way the consumers are investing, I don't think it's possible to ahve an absolute crash. And also, considering how gaming is starting to suck ass, like you said, gamers these days just lap up the crap like it's chocolate. So if they aren't bored of all the crap right now, who says they'll ever get bored of it in the future?

Maybe they added FFXI so that the X-Box 360 appeals to a larger group of gamers, which actually a good idea, and also why the PS2 was the leader in the last generation of consoles.

I played a demo fo King Kong at Wal-mart. It was terrible. TERRIBLE. I wonder if the full game is any different.

It'd work becuase the larger portion of computer users know nothing about computers. It seems that nothing will stop corperations from trying to control what you do these days. flock 'em.

Disgaea 2 is slated for sometime next year. Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom and La Pucelle Tactics are separate titles. I really should go out and get Makai Kingdom, seeing as I already have the other games... which I haven't even finished yet. Just owning a game from Nippon Ichi makes you feel warm inside. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, the warm feeling that you've already played this game before. All Nippon Ichi games are exactly the same with VERY minor changes to the gameplay. Got old fast after I bought my third Nippon game in hopes of original gameplay. I was deeply saddened to find that they are indeed all the same.
